We enjoyed the lovely walk to the spring. Tossing a coin into the water to make a wish really revealed the force of the water bubbling up there. The coin kept rising and falling until it finally flipped over and popped into a crevice somewhere out of sight. I'm sure wishes made there must be sure to come true! Required info has been emailed to the cache owner.
The falls...great! Sorry we didn't see anyone actually making their way through...but did meet some wet rafters at the carpark. The cave and the walk down to it...well worth the effort. The puzzle caused some head-scratching at first, but we managed to get it sorted out. The kids in our crew didn't enjoy the last bit of the search...and were certain we must have done the calculations incorrectly. Great relief when we tracked it down! TNLNSL

We had hoped we might be first to find this one...but were beaten out for the honour! It was a busy day at the lake with school rowing races going on. Nice walk. Good fun with some folks new to caching going along to see what it's all about. Thanks for the fun! Left a couple of pins from Canada and took the TB to find an airfield.

This was a real challenge to get...and even more difficult to replace, as there were MANY people enjoying a drink on a hot summer afternoon! (resorted to tying shoelaces again!!)We went in for cool drinks and food, too. The interior of the building is really worth a look...don't just grab this cache and go!TN left PEI magnet
What lovely gardens...and you found a very interesting spot to hide the cache. (We had thought this one would surely be on the walkway near the turtle rock!)TFTH TFTC
Perhaps we didn't count correctly...and maybe that wasn't a gum tree(?)Unfortunately, we didn't find this cache today, although we found a likely spot, with an empty cavity that seemed to be the correct size and shape to hide a cache. The cache area was really interesting...
Easy find. It is in a rather open area, but I expect the neighbours must be quite used to having cachers poking around at the bottom of their gardens. Thanks for the cache.
Not many people around...just one skier. We had a good look and almost gave up on this one...it wasn't easy to locate. TN left pin. TFTH TFTC
This is the tiny-perfect cache! It was spotted by one of the youngsters with us. Good hide...fun to find. TFTH TFTC
The gardens are beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Thanks for the cache. We enjoyed this area. TNLNSL
We enjoyed the view and the shade, since it was a really hot day in the Gardens today! No muggles disturbed our search and it was safely replaced. TNLNSL
Many folks enjoying the beach today...good day for a swim...signs advising against it, notwithstanding! We found the cache without much trouble. TB drop.

Found the cache after several wrong turns...streets never seem to do what the GPSr wants! We read the Baden Powell plaque. Thanks for the hunt. This makes 300 finds for the graniteers! TNLNSL
Found it....sort-of! We didn't have a chance to look at the cache info sheet until later...only then did we realize that we'd found and signed the micro...missed the recent cache change at the site!!
We'd never have seen this most interesting site without this cache to take us there. Thanks. TNLNSL
Neat hide. Although the cache is pretty wet, the logbook is dry. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely garden. Wish we'd been here for the show that these rhodedendrons must have put on a few weeks ago! TNLNSL
Didn't take time for a dip in the hot pools...but lots of others were enjoying this area. This cache was well-hidden and in good shape. That was one huge pine tree! TFTH TFTC TNLNSL
We were lucky enough to be here just in time to see the spectacle at noon. Very impressive! Thanks for choosing such a good location for a cache. The search was a bit difficult because of the numerous muggles in the area. TNLNS
Cache was found without much difficulty, despite the large number of people enjoying the falls in today's lovely weather. Hint was very useful here. TNLNSL Thanks.
Lovely walking trail. It was busy today. The cache location was a good spot to rest weary feet. TNLNSL TFTH TFTC

The trail was a bit difficult toward the end. But we persisted and found the cache, well hidden! Many people were enjoying the pools today.TN left Windsor NS pin. TFTH TFTC
It was difficult to get off the path to get the cache, as many people were here today. Easy find with coords right on! TN Left Windsor NS pin and Nascar TB. Thanks for the cache.

We found the cache and signed the log. There were lots of people about, so we had to wait...both for a chance to get to it and also to replace it. Understood the hint when we got there!
22-Dec-06
We found the cache quite easily...it is really full, but we managed to drop off a TB and pick one up. Good location, no muggles in that area...although the park had lots of visitors today. TFTH TFTC
17-Dec-06
We found our first NZ cache with our NZ relatives...after making a few wrong turns. It was a good hike and what a view when we got there! TN Left a Hello Kitty purse. TFTH TFTC

Our hotel window overlooked the location of this cache...and for several days, we tried a bit of a search each time we passed it. But this is one of the busiest walkways in the city, I think! On one occasion, we were approached by a security ranger who wanted to know what we were doing. A brief explanation seemed to assure him that we might be peculiar, but not dangerous. On the last evening of our stay, we rested on a nearby bench with our Aussie friends...enjoying the weather and the scenery and, of course, discussing our failure to find the cache. One last look was needed. Success! The Aussie found it! How could we have missed it before? Thanks for the fun, Philma.
The log sheet is full...needs a new one!

It was a lovely morning for a walk, and these trees are really something to see! Any one of the many we passed on our way to THE Tolkien Tree could have been it! Neat hide. The location made it easy to search...just off the beaten path. TFTC.

Found the cache with a few muggles in the area...some park bench sitters not far away. Took our Aussie friends along to show them how this game works...and one of them found it! (So much for experience!)TFTH
This was a very busy part of the city on the day we were there. We managed to find a break in the crowd to grab this quickly posed photo! We decided to visit the marker for Australian author, Kylie Tennant. We are nominating her children's book...All the Proud Tribesmen, which won the Children's Book Award in 1960.
