All the clues pointed to one place in particular but it just wasnt there. 'Certain angle' 'too high for kids' 'needed a tool to get it out' 'extra small' 'spider web' 'only one place it could be' 'looked in bushes but it was right under my nose' is it supposed to be where i think it is? 

Almost gave up!
