On a brief visit home from Saudi Arabia, visited and replaced in the correct hiding spot. At has all the basic requirements intact but no pen and the TB is missing. Hopefully the log book can be returned soon. Thanks all!

Found by Pickupfamily Dad on a brief visit back from Saudi Arabia. Wish I'd known this was here when I was hiding caches years ago. Great spot. Lovely to hear the kookaburras. TNLN, TFTC.

The pickupfamily children say this cache has gone missing - the camouflage is still there but they couldn't find the container. May reinstate in the future, but opening up the space for others if they wish. Thanks all, this was our first hide.

Won't be replacing this in a hurry, so freeing up the space in case somebody else wants to have a go.

25-Apr-10
Pickupfamily Dad made the trek this morning with kids Pickup Tiger and Pickup Dragon. This is the first cache I've deliberately sought out in Australia for over 12 months, and it was a fitting cache. I'd wanted to come back here after Pickup Tiger and I found the companion cache (A Dark View) years ago. We took a fairly slow walk up the south spur and enjoyed the view from the top, stopping for a small "picnic". The campers and motorbikers were settling in when we returned to the car at about 1pm, but we had enjoyed the serenity earlier. Luckily I had some smaller swaps with me, so the kids left a combination lock and took a stretchy snake. Thanks for again providing a great outing for us, Derringer.

Wow, I'm so glad I hid it well enough for it to be found after 3.5 years! And good to see it on the move again. Smile

collected container for repairs.

Updated description given missing information on location.

14-Mar-10
Found by Pickupfamily Dad with the kids Pickup Dragon and Pickup Tiger, after running into Coffee and Cache by fluke during a family walk along the riverside after breakfast nearby. We had no intention of going geocaching but I spotted somebody suspicious (to me, I'm sure muggles wouldn't have taken a second glance) lurking around with a GPS. Since we haven't been actively geocaching in Australia for a few years, I was surprised to find somebody who I knew, and who knew me (I had FTF'd his first hide, apparently). This cache has appeared since I last looked in this area. We searched together after Mr Coffee and Cache pinpointed the area. I was actually on the phone to tell Pickupfamily Mum why we had been waylaid when I spotted a likely area, and then walked away. Pickup Tiger was the one smart enough to work out where I had just been and find the cache. I believe he or Pickup Dragon signed on my behalf, and of course Coffee and Cache signed too. We TNLN as we were not prepared for geocaching. Thanks for the cache, Foxleg, and thanks to Coffee and Cache for perhaps inspiring us to get geocaching again. It was lovely to meet you! I hope the geoson had a good time rafting.

05-Feb-10
Had an interesting visit, took some photos, but found no cache. Regards from Australia.

Found by Pickupfamily Dad at 1340hrs, his first cache in KSA. Will be back with the family soon to live for a year or so...
Left geocoin, took nothing. Thanks for the cache, mhfares.

27-Jan-10
As has been reported, the sign on site with the PO box is missing, so I will rework the clues. Meanwhile, you can do some internet research instead and still successfully find the cache.

16-Jan-10
On a bike ride with the kids, checked it out, all good.

13-Dec-09
Found by Pickupfamily Dad, my only chance to geocache in Versailles after visiting for a week for work. As I sat nearby to inspect the cache contents, two guys arrived and started looking. Once I was sure they were geocaching, I offered to rehide the cache and then watched them find it. It was nice to meet you guys. Took geocoin. TFTC.

11-Dec-09
Found by Pickupfamily Dad whilst my colleague was in a meeting. Enjoyed exploring this university area.
Mon francais est tres mal, excusez-moi! Trouve par Pickupfamily Pere, quand mon colleague travailler. J'aime cette region d'universite.
C'est mon premiere cache en France. Merci beacoup, Team Ninne. Took rien, left rien.

Found by Pickupfamily Dad, my second cache in France. A lovely walk through the park.
Trouve par Pickupfamily Pere, mon deuxieme cache en France. Un beau promenade dans le parc.
Merci beacoup encore Team Ninine.

19-Aug-09
I didn't open it, but I'm pretty sure it's still there. I saw it and touched it today about 6pm.

Found by Pickupfamily Dad around 4:30pm once I used my head. TFTC.

16-Aug-09
Found by Pickupfamily Dad at I guess about 3pm. Enjoyed the lovely walk in this great park, albeit the walk over the "little hill' was more strenuous than we expected on this sunny, humid, summer day. I was joined by muggles Eric, and Lizza who although she lives in Shenzhen, didn't know this park. We enjoyed the varied scenery and very glad to have come here. I was also very glad to be able to drop off the "Zhuwang, China" Unite for Diabetes Travel Bug, which I picked up in Australia probably over a year ago.

We had to borrow a pen to sign the log, as I was underprepared as usual. Lizza left a trinket which I think she said was from Mongolia, but maybe she will leave a log herself.

Very happy to see this cache appear in Shenzhen, and I look forward to more accessible from the subway, as I visit often. Fei chang gan xie, Zigzed.

Let's hope the server can handle it!

Good fun, thanks!

12-Jul-09
Finally found it after a few thwarted attempts on previous visits to Hong Kong. This time I saw it and then sat down to play with my phone. Only wrote PFAM 12-JUL in the log as it is very full! TFTC.

Found by Pickupfamily Dad on a beautiful afternoon, then proceeded back to Canton Rd to see and hear a marching band of 200+ Falun Gong supporters. TFTC.

Like many others, I tried multiple approaches to GZ, and did a second visit today after reading logs, and was finally successful. Easy once you get there, but a great location I didn't know about despite visiting Ocean Terminal for I guess nearly 20 years. TFTC.

31-Mar-09
Ah, our first FTF, gave us the FTF bug. Very sad to see it go. Thanks Rally for the fun on this and many caches!

17-Jan-09
Found by Pickupfamily Dad 0800hrs. My first FTF hunt in a long while, and my first by bike. Beaten by Solomonfamily however, well done to you! If I'd checked the new caches when I first got up I'd probably have met you at GZ. Took TB. Another appropriate location for a cache (whilst I ride past here very often, I'd never read the sign properly) and a high quality hide. Thanks as always Alansee.

Found by Pickupfamily Dad 1220hrs, detouring from a route I often ride. I had worked out the concept of the puzzle ages ago but only just got around to doing the required legwork to decode the puzzle a few days ago. A lovely spot and a cache in great condition. TNLN. TFTC.

Found by Pickupfamily Dad at 1205hrs, on a ride from home. I often ride past here but finally got around to the small diversion required to collect this. DNF possum. Took Flat Stanley TB. TFTC.

23-Dec-08
Replaced with a new 400ml Sistema and new contents. Thanks Takua for the prompt to get this back online. Merry Christmas everyone.

21-Dec-08
Found by Pickupfamily Dad from Melbourne at 1610hrs. This was an impressive cache, which I really appreciated. I had to scare a muggle away from GZ before being able to retrieve, log and replace subtly, in front of the bin man. TFTC!

Found by Pickupfamily Dad from Melbourne at 1755hrs. After trekking all over Brisbane for the afternoon, I was getting tired, and coming back over the Storey Bridge I was tempted to give this one a miss due to terrain/difficulty, but I knew I must be getting close to 600 caches. I had lost count, but it turns out this was number 600, which has been a long time coming, I have slowed down a lot in the last year.

This was quite a nice spot, so thanks for bringing me here. TNLN.

Not found by Pickupfamily Dad from Melbourne at about 1630hrs. I was getting terrible reception and had to use the clue to find the right general area, but there was no way the GPS was going to get me close to locating the actual cache. After seeing the general area was not the most appealing, and upon reading Mr Coffee and Clan's log, my desire to find this one dissipated and I moved on.

After trekking all around the city, I visited this one as my last attempt. However with some snuggling muggles settled in to enjoy the sunset, I checked only a few spots and headed back to the hotel, very tired and sore, but satisfied. Thanks Brisbane for an enjoyable afternoon of geocaching!

Found by Pickupfamily Dad from Melbourne at 1640hrs. After zigzagging my way through the CBD, I finally knew where I was when I arrived here as my brother had worked at the Stamford 5 years ago or so. I had to juggle some muggles here but otherwise was a quick easy find. TFTC.

Had only half-hearted look after trekking around the city all afternoon. It was nice to be brought up the steps in amongst these lovely trees though, thanks.

Visited by Pickupfamily Dad from Melbourne mid-afternoon. Enjoyed the sculpture (I love all the public art in Brisbane), had a few quick looks in obvious locations, then moved on. Thanks for bringing me here anyway.

Found by Pickupfamily Dad from Melbourne at 1535hrs, on a roll now. I loved the new and the old architecture here together. Found after first checking two other spots. TNLN. TFTC.

Visited by Pickupfamily Dad from Melbourne early afternoon. I found it, but I had no pen. Even if I had a pen, I may not have been bold enough to retrieve it alone anyway. I took a photo to record this interesting historical place. TFTC anyway Rogainer.

Found by Pickupfamily Dad from Melbourne at 1550hrs. I had vaguely searched for this one months (years?) ago when in Brisbane and been thrown all over the place by dodge satellite reception. I had the same problem again this time, but persistence paid off and it really was quite easy once I found the right area! Now that I log online, I see that the photos would have helped me find the right locality too. A fascinating bit of history. Thanks.

Visited by Pickupfamily Dad from Melbourne early afternoon. I gave up after a bit of a search, didn't want to arouse too much suspicion searching alone.

BEWARE WHERE YOU PUT YOUR HANDS HERE, as there are wasps building a nest one of the places i looked. I didn't stay too long to check them out.

It was a nice location, and nice to walk through the Roma St Parklands. For some reason (I see now), I didn't have the other caches loaded in my GPS, so this is the only one I searched for here. A pity to see the storm damage with much of the park closed off. TFTC anyway.
