well set off late afternoon with mabs and VK2TDG, we decided to cross the river first before we headed to the cache (good job we didnt!) and stumbled through a nudist beach (!). we only found out what it was later and realised what the weird looks to three geeks with radio's and gps's were doing on a nude beach were for!! decided not to cross and headed down the river bank all the way trying to comprehend why all the other people said it was a easy stroll and why mtbikeroz got a bike through!!! found it. took the breakfast/sports bar thing and split it between us as we were starving and set off to get to red rooster before dark fell (apparently in about 20 minutes according to the gps) and stumbled onto a bloody walking path about 2 minutes after mabs got ripped to shreads by blackberry's!! walked half the way back in the dark on empty stomach's and with one broken toe but well worth it for a great cache!

We found it! But it was damn cold! pen was freezing so had to use one of the multiple pencils provided. took nothing and left a twig just in case the next person was on the brink of frostbite too and needed some good tinder!
