I went and had a look yesterday at Zal's request and also couldn't find anything - I was a tad shady on its exact location but was fairly certain I was looking in the right spot... Not looking good...!
This is a belated DNF log. I tried this one about three weeks ago and like Zal came up with nothing. Wandered round and round and found it strange that such a large cache could escape my search. I think something may have happened to it.
Wow... the first ever DNF on this old cache I find it hard to believe, being where it is, that this could have been muggled... however I also find it hard to believe I couldnt find a "Large" in the bush. After 30mins of hunting I gave up and started reading the logs. That gave me a good idea of what I was looking for. Another 30mins and I called not one, but two friends who confirmed what I was looking for was correct, that the co-ords should be pretty good, and gave a rough idea of where to hunt...
Im either missing the forest for the trees and having the worlds worst cache blindness, or we have a probelm As Leek isnt around these days I'll contact Gowza and see if he has time for a checkup

Parked the vehicle on the side of the road and started walking - along the wrong track.
Fixed the track problem and found the carpark, still left my car where it was.
Had wondered about access to the cache and decided to bush creep stealthily to the summit. The cache was found quickly and the log filled.
Note:- the log on the next page was there before I filled mine in. It mentions something about leaving excrement in the area but I'm guessing that wasn't any of us....
Got back to the car and there was a police car parked behind it. They said they were just putting on their jackets. Right.
Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for the cache Leek

I logged the archived GC version of this cache however I suppose I should log it here as this is now the host site for the listing...
Nice hide and a lovely area! Good to see a different container out there for once! TFTC

Nice and easy walk and slight bush bash. The hide drew chuckles from all three of us!

Cool spot, we circled it once then made the trek, with the spiders!

There was only one other car in the car park when we arrived - always a good sign we think. Had a couple of options on which way to go but figured it wouldn't really matter in the end. Circled the the cache like Indians around the wagon train until we espied the optimum approach route, thence a little jaunt through the light shrubbery to GZ. Our suspicious and juandiced gaze locked on the cache immediately - a nifty piece of camouflage! Thence back to the track and we completed the circuit walk which is as easy as it is pleasant.
Gee it was hard to get there but we managed I love the cache - very unusual one. Thanks for organised the hunt.

15.10... sevabo and I were bush bashing and then found it. We saw a little bush lizard. See attached photos.

Did this one with Toonarmy. I bit of a bush bash - no doubt becuase we left the path a little too early, although not too hard to find. Nice Park with lots of muggles around enjoying an afternoon out. Thanks for taking us here. TFTC
Found with The Carey Clan after a pleasant walk up the hill though parking was a bit of a problem.
Easy find in the end as we came across it straight away.

Wet underfoot but after some bush bashing and cobweb clearing I soon found it. Took key ring and left red lanyard with clip.
Avoided the red bellied black snake on the way out.
Unusual cache but it was in a place worthy of it's type.

The find was easy, but getting there was fun - being dressed in thongs and shorts. Waving to stick to clear the cobwebs I made my way to GZ and had it in hand fairly quickly. TNLNSL, thanks Leek.

P.S. I think I am getting too old for that.
I noted "In: coin", but the coin managed to stay in my backpack.
May I was do distracted from the hiding.

I found this cache by mistake while searching for MS 04 but I couldn't agree more it is certainly a place worthy of a cache. TNLN SL noticed the cache has a border in the form of a Gecko.
Nice bush walk into cache. Fairly easy find although a clever type cache hide. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Great walk this morning from the other close by cache. Found it pretty easy and impressed by the hide. The cache was inhabited by a Gecko, so I had to remove the cache gently so as not to disturb him.

After completing a nearby cache I headed up to find Sugarloaf. Wasn't to hot today so it was a really nice walk. Started to go around in circles at GZ but eventually found the cache. Very nice. Really enjoyed this walk.
A cache by Leek never fails to disappoint, even if you don't find it. This was another great 'out of the way' location. As I began seaching for the cache, I read through some of the past logs on my Palm Pilot and wandered in concentric circles. Where was it?
After two circles I headed back to my bag and GPSr, and what was next to them? You guessed...the cache.
Leek - It's still in good nick. Collected a Hungarian(?) coin that was on the ground nearby and left a Star Wars jigsaw puzzle. TFTC.

Brilliant idea. So clever, why hide something when it can be left in plain view. No muggle will ever get this one. Great little walk too. Enjoyed the views. TNLN TFTC
Right on our doorstep and we didn't even know it was there! Well, we do now.
Neat coverage. Left assorted bugs, took wallet
Thanks Leek

The 2nd in this great park - a real bush walk in the city. It was a little easier than the other and is well done. A quiet day here today, no muggles anywhere. The real surprise was that the satellite reception was OK.
Took a pack of cards & left a wallet

This was the second cache for the day the first being, "Man, those Groves". We climbed the hill just as twilight had set in and found the spot quite easily. Camo is really good because at first I thought it was a odd rock but giving it a prod revealed!
Cheers Leek

I've been planning on doing this for some time, but last time I tried I got so bogged down at another cache (Man Those Groves!) I didn't have time. This time I made sure to get in search. Found it fairly quickly. Got to the location and started searching, found something and thought "I wonder if it's behind this" - It wasn't behind it was it. Great hide.
We thought about placing a cache in the area, only to discover one was already here. Easy find.

Found this easily enough and enjoyed its camouflage. Two Geodads and two Geokids walked to this cache from Field of Mars through the mangroves. Took some stickers and left a toy horse. Thanks for the Cache
Long time between finds.
A very clever camoflagued cache. I took the time to detour to Sugarloaf before trying to find the elusive Battlecache nearby.
An interesting trek to one of Sydney's many green areas that are surprising.
Glad I didn't leave a TB - hadn't realised from my cache notes it was a GCA at the time.

We found this one, but logged it on GC. Unfortunately, this one comes up in our gpx downloads now. If you think that's needed, please delete our GC log.
I drive through this area from time to time but rarely stop. Its worth a better look.
Found by Mary & David at 1250. Another nice walk along a bush track with water views. A nice big container, and loved the camo! Took clips, left a tea light candle holder and a karma card. Also took TB 'NYM 2004 #4' for another hop in its journey. Our thanks, and a Merry Christmas, to Leek.
OK, by now I'm really running late for dinner at Leichardt. Good thing this was easy to spot. Loved the clever camo. I don't think this will be discovered easily.
Sorry I didn't read the previous log when before I found this, otherwise I would have taken the NYM TB.
Thanks Leek, I didn't know this place was here.

I would be very grateful if the next person to visit this cache would PLEASE move on my NYM 2004 TB as it seems to have got stuck in this cache and it's in a race!
Many thanks

Nice walk and a great cache container. Only problem was the rain started to pour down just as I got to GZ and I had left my raincoat in the car thinking I wouldn't need it. Picked up the F14 Tomcat travel bug.
Great work, Leek. We'd been looking forward to this one and found it without too much trouble. Took one of the TBs and left another (F14 Tomcat). Cache & contents still in good order. Thanks.
My first Australian cache ever. This one was a surprise as well, I have not seen a cache like this before! What a beatiful area.
Grabbed TB Bunny and dropped off three TB's which have been travelling a pretty long distance (One eyed Tigger, Pippi Longstockings and Harry the rabbit).
Thanks a lot

2/5 for today..
It had to rain! didn't it?
found after a bit of a bush bash.
didnt know the trail did a loop and came quite close to GZ.
oh well.
took waiter friend, left CD.

Another pocket of Sydney we didn't know about. A bit of a scramble up the rocks but found it easily. We love the camoflage Leek. We picked up Loosy Goosy TB, took some tumbling cats and left some stickers.
Found at about 3:30pm after a brief scramble. Almost walked here from Man, those Groves, but got a bit lazy and decided to walk to a closer staging point. There were muggles a plently on the trail, and few who even saw me turn off, but I think the secret is safe. Found the container after a brief search. Both the container and the camoflauge holding up well. Took a soccer whistle and left a pack of small pegs. Thanks Leek for another top effort!
Nice container!!
Found it quite easy thank god

This was a great place to explore. Be careful though, some of the rocks are getting a bit crumbly. Swapped a probe for some reserve pencils. Getting out was harder than getting in. The local spiders seemed determined to block all avenues of escape. Thanks for yet another great hunt Leek.
What a great reserve but alas, no cattle seen. Nice walk amongst the mangroves then a climb to the top. Lotsa spiders spinning their webs. What's this? A rock? Took a mouse, left some rope and circuit tester. Thanks Leek.
You really know you've hit the big time when another team names a cache after you.
I'm not sure however what it means when they change its' name after you find it...
When I realised this was not far from work and because I knew exactly where it would be, having been here recently to do some GPS stuff for a work colleague, I said to myself, "Self" I said, "let's knock off work early and get us a cache!" I readily and eagerly agreed with myself so off we went, dragging me along with us to navigate.
So the three of us, me myself and I, found ourselves back in familiar territory and the cache was soon at hand, but not before doing battle with the hoards of spiders that are out and about at the moment. We even saw one that was in the middle of a meal. We left him in peace but the others will be busy repairing their webs before retiring for the evening.
Swapped a minicar kit for a Lego kit.
Good one Leek

I repositioned this cache out in the wild this morning... Dropped off Snickers the Dog TB. Ideology also left something nice in the cache for the next finder... Good Luck...
Late one Saturday evening, a certain Mind Socket had a brainwave.
"Let's go to Wondabyne", he said.
"Where the hell is that?", inquired Leek.
And so it transpired that, instead of making a decent go of implementing this hare-brained last-minute plan, the LeekMobile sprang forth in the wee hours of Sunday morning, for a caching tour that required significantly less preparation.
The word on the street was that the cache formerly known as had gone bush and was holed up somewhere nearby. In the pursuit of excellence, and apon Leek's insistence that he chauffeur KitPie and myself to the best caches on the planet, we made a dash for it.
Leek insisted that he had cleared a path free of spiderwebs earlier that morning when planting the cache. I radioed back to the LeekMobile to inform him that I had clearly chosen a different path, as I was being mummified in the domiciles of arachnids named after The Orb. This lot build their houses closer together than the folks at New Home World!
It seemed at this point, that the satellites had had a big night out and were still asleep in our time of need. We struck 5 different apparent GZs with 30m accuracy before finally hitting the cache location.
A most ingeniously prepared container indeed. Nabbed the TB, but left the ideogear for the next finder.

George actually found the cache this morning, but in the style that we have come to expect from Ideology hasn't bothered to log the find on this site yet...
I just "happened to be there" when he was searching for it. Photos at: http://leek.geocaching.com.au/CachePages/george.htm
I will now temporarily disable the cache until I've found a new location for it... then the rest of you can have a go at it...

In a desperate attempt to log the cache before it was permanently archived, we hobbled out of the i! Wednesday Penthouse to the garage door. But which garage door? That of the i! CacheRacer, i! GeoKart, i! CacheMobile or the i! StealthMobile (#1 or #2)? Maybe the i! GeoCopter hangar!
Could the Loon have requested the cache be hidden up high? (Ouch!) Or maybe EcoTeam wanted it in a drain? (Aargh!) Maybe it's in the garbage? (Luckily, our garbage doesn't stink...)
Ah: Think like a vegetable... Of course! Fingers crossed, there it is! Good one Leek, and thank you everyone! Much appreciated.
Over to the Leekmeister for a new devious placement!
