Nice one. This was my second ever cache, and it was quite a tricky one. I think I took the hard way in, and was a bit offline to spot it easily. My colleagues were a little higher than I and managed to hone in on it pretty easily though. Signed the book, left a keyring, took some headphones.
Was a pleasant walk in and out though...Thanks!

What Nads said. Met with The Rat and a Mindsocket and under their expert guidance I had barely got my jumper off when the Rat had sniffed it out.

Check out the rock formations on the way in. Makes the cache just another destination.

The Bronze.

Went on a morning stroll with Bronze. Met up with Dave rat and Mindsocket only to find them lamenting over a muggled Ginger.
Left a golf ball and took a keyring as well as the TB
Thanx Swampy

find # 278
and 4 of 7 for today.

Yay! i got here first.. only just. lucky for those long reaching simmion arms. well i had to find one of the caches today.
How could we come all the way out here and leave a cache only 468 meters away?

took something, left something else, and then had to leave another thing cause someone liked the first thing better.

SmileSecond find. Took hubby and friends on this one. We enjoyed the walk up the track and the scramble through the scrub.

08-Nov-03
I walked up the track from the other end to find this cache. I spent some time looking where the GPS thought it was before looking for likely hiding places. I spotted an interesting area at a slightly increased elevation and found the cache tucked away there. Swapped a squeezy thing for a tank from an earlier cache find.

first for the day. was a nice walk. met some dudes on the way. no probs finding it. took the wine cooler, left social club token.

19-Jan-03
Spent over an hour looking for this one but was unsuccesful, GPS was giving large EPE values despite having good contact with the helpers in the sky which made it very hard to know exactly where to look, perhaps this one is haunted? Smile

04-Jan-03
It was a hot day so luckily not a huge walk. I walked right into this one.

Nice one.

No swaps.

This was interesting. We had a poor fix with our rotten GPSr and clouds and tree cover and an EPE of 25 m. We had given up after going down too close to the creek and about 20m from ground zero JUST happened to see it. It's in a spot not nearly as precarious as where we had just been searching. Fun.

Took the R2D2 lolly and a dollar bill. Left a porcupine and flashing pen.
