Description
Another cache in 4WD territory
While perusing my maps for this area I saw a walking track marked on one of them, it so happens this cache, filled with the usual bits and pieces, is near the end of that track.
Logs
After enjoying a sunny walk out to the lookout, I then headed out to the powerlines access and exploring around, I found this track. Indeed I followed it to the end, yet there was 70 odd metres to go! Oh well, bushbash through. It wasn't too hard to get to the cache, and its in great condition. Made a few swaps and then headed back, just as the weather started to turn. TFTC Riblit.

MrT has to keep his fitness up for SES VR and S&R. Just as well he has, as he did a search last week. Today he decided to go for a bike ride. Rode from home and down along the track. Did Cubby Cache along the way. Got to about 65m from GZ, left his bike behind a bush, and walked towards GZ. Beat through the scrub. Saw a likely spot and searched around. Cache found without too much trouble. Although the zip lock bag was torn, the cache log book was dry and in good condition. With it's good container and location it should be good for a long while. Back to his bike and rode home. He did about 20km with his combination ride/walk. TFTC

Late log. I came down here with phlphotos after we got "permission" to come into the area from the so-called owners. Apparently it's not their land and you have every right to walk this trai. That being said, I called the number and the person at the other end was quite friendly and had no issue with us coming into the area. Anyway, after a bit of scrambling about, a bit of up and down, and a few scratches...I think Phil found the cache. Regardless, it was a good day for geocaching, but...isn't every day?

A day caching with alnic39 in the Warrimoo area brought us here. We parked at the start of the 4WD track and found that it was now Private property, rang the number and told them that we wanted to go for a walk in the area, they gave us the OK as they weren't in the area on the day. So after finding the GC cache Looking out the Backdoor we came looking for this one, it took a while to locate as the GPSr was taking us both further down. When it decided that it had finished playing games it brought us back, I spotted the hide this time and found the cache, we signed and replaced.

After baulking at the 80 metre bushbash 2 days before, Bisygisy offered to clear a track and show how GeoCachers have no fear ... Thanks Riblit for another great Cache.

Met up with whitemushroom this morning and walked out to the end of the track. This time we just headed straight into the scrub and found ourselves just above where we needed to be. TFTC.

Following success at Views 3-36, and Looking out the Backdoor ... it was then to The End of the Track. And at track's end is as far as I was willing to go. With a wall of flora, no apparent path, overcast sky, and an indication of a further bushbash of 75-80 metres, the decision was taken that this Cache was beyond my (safe) capabilities, alone.
Not logged as a DNF, did not get to the looking for stage.
Am happy to do the walk back in though, to share the seemingly bushbash with another (looking back as I departed, the wall of flora did seem a little less behind).

For more than a year now I've postponed logging two riblit caches near Warrimoo in the Blue Mountains. Today rogerw3 agreed to accompany me, and we set off from the end of Greens Road -- past his 'Warimoo VIEW 3-36' -- and down the fire trail. It was a great day for a walk, cool and sunny, and we had a great outing.
This one was the hardest to find of the two, actually some 70 metres beyond the end of the track, and requiring a slight descent after a moderate bush bash. But there's no need to go right down to the bottom. Coords (on the day, at least with my GPSr) varied by 7 metres, so be sure to enlarge your search area if you don't spot this one right away.
It's typical, old-fashioned hide and in good condition. Great to find these 'ancient' caches as a break from the many modern micros. Still in good condition, nice and dry. And it's likely to remain so in this suitable spot.
TNLNSL. I think rogerw3 left one of his pathtags.
Many thanks to riblit!

I'd say further than the end of the track!! Found after the "looking out the backdoor" cache. Good hide and a tough bush bash for the last 70 odd metres. Interesting track or trail off the main fire trail, makes me wonder who put it there and why? Took pliosaur, left bouncy ball. TFTC
Heya! Thanks for the cache. We started out at the other side of the walk and it was a long, long, long walk in. Then we bushwalked and rock climbed to get to the spot for about an hour. We found the cache wasn't supposed to be that hard-core - in fact it was a drive and a bit away from a possible 4WD drive in... Anyway! It was raining too so we got quite a few leeches! But thanks anyway, the way we experienced the cache it was very hard core and awesome! (though maybe the easy way would've been better). We took nothing and replaced nothing as we didnt bring anything =) We will remember to next time. Nice hiding spot. Thanks again!

This cache has not been visited for almost 2 years and I am happy to report that all is well, it is in perfect condition. The track is now gated and locked at the limit of the national park so only walkers and MTB allowed.
Very enjoyable walk from Warrimoo station, the last 70m to GZ is now very much a bush bash but no real problem getting there.
Located the cache eventually as always missing the obvious! Got there in the end, left Yowie and 2x Olympic pins, removed the batteries.
Thank Riblit

We came all the way to the end of the track to find this cache and had a great time wheelin' and walking around here.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
A great easy walk through the bush. Proves GCA isn't a dumping ground for caches, although the car nearby certainly was. Thanks riblit.
Nice ride from the backdoor. Good to see the Lower Mountains from another perspective. Took: side cutters, Left: calculator keyring and bottle opener.
Thanks for the good cache.
Thanks for the good cache.
After recent road works its no longer much of a 4WD trip into this area. Came here via the backdoor and quickly found the cache which is in good condition. Nicer views here across the valley and away from the sprawl. Did the swap thing and headed off. Thanks Riblit.

The family and I went for a walk to the “End of the Track†and nabbed this cache today. An easy find after “bush bashing†the last 70m or so.
Took a scented candle for Little Miss Wing Nut.
Left a carabiner compass key ring.
Thanks Riblit.

Bagged this one while "Looking out the back door"...
Found this one quite easily... We were out here with Team Webguy a few weeks ago, while out trying our respective new toys out on the local trails.
Took - USB extension cord
Left - 'Riblit' Frog Key Ring
Thanks for another fun one!
