Description

This is a fun cache with a few simple rules.

You will find this cache attached to an object, there is many of these objects all over Australia. When you take this cache you need to rehide it under another one of these objects the same object and color. The rules are as follows: 1. When you take this cache it must be rehidden within 24 hours. 2. You must log your find and the new co-ords within 24 hours 3. You must estimate the distance you have moved this cache and enter it with your log. 4. Each team can only log this cache once per week and no more than 3 times. This cache contains 2 log books and a pencil, but no swaps. Good luck and have fun.

Logs

This cache appears to be MIA.
As the owner hasn't been around since 12th July 2010 we'll archive this to stop it showing up in the cache lists.
If the owner decides to replace the cache, they can active this listing by placing an "unarchived" log against it.

I have been watching this moveable cache for awhile...It was last found since 2008.
Its over 2 years.
Need to archive this one or replace new cache to keep moving.

Saturday morning, and it was a great time to be out and about caching with no care in the world. I had about half a day before I was due over at a friends house so I madly cached in the Kilsyth area today. With a high concentration of caches that I have yet to find here, it was a good 3 hours with 14 caches found. As usual, I would park close by and run into GZ with the backpack on my back. This was cache the only cache I did not find today. I'm pretty sure it's MIA. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Not sure whats happening with this one. I have noticed that it has disappeared from the current location where i put it and has also moved from that location on the google map (my closest caches). But there is no log on the page.

My first moveable cache! Placed at 10.30pm in the pouring rain!

Travelled approx 36.5km

When I parked the car, I spotted this cache attached to its host before I even climbed out! I had to wait almost 10 minutes before the muggle on her phone moved away.

Will move ASAP!

My first ever cache, yay! Found it right away @ 7:25pm with my trusty Garmin 295. Two hours earlier I'd never even heard of geocaching! Moved it to its new home soon afterwards, couldn't help leaving something tiny for the next person. TFTC.

Wave when you find it... I can see the new location from my office. Feel free to give me a call to say hi.

RTS is back in play!

Found after a false start last week... helps to have your GPS with you instead of trying to remember which street off Millers Road had the cache hidden.

This time around it was much easier.

Finding ourselves in the vicinity of this cache we looked in to confirm where it had been hidden. Our thoughts on this present situation are that if the previous finder/relocater hasn't fulfilled their obligation within a set time, say 48 hours, the cache should be automatically made unavailable as advice to future searchers.
When finally repositioned it would then be a simple matter to reactivate it again! The alternative of course would be for the owner to just start it off again with a new container!

'Finally I got this one back to Victoria.
If you intend moving this, remember the move locations are not valid in NSW.
But it has travelled, to Sydney, London, Singapore & Dubai. Approx 25,000 kms....
I know well outside its expectations.

Have I been away so long, yes I still have this cache.
Yes I logged it as when I got to Sydney it did not fit in. This cache was designed for particular location that are very different up here.
My week in Sydney turned out to be a longer stay but I'll be in Vic for the NSW long weekend and I will fix this up then.
So "Return To Sender" can hope to be on the move again very soon.
Last time I try to be so clever with movable.

Noted this Cache had not moved for some time, so Thought I'd make a big move for it....
I've been caught out though, I picked it up no trouble locating it BUT
thought I'd relocate it to Sydney where I was on way to. Surprise, Surprise surprise, I can't re hide it as up here the objects where it is to be hidden are different to Melbourne, both in design and colour. So What to do. I'm in NSW for a week or so and if I can find the right object it will be placed, otherwise it will have to await return to Melb. But it looks like it will be with me longer than 24hrs. Sorry.

Picked this one up today and took it on a 26.6km car ride to its new resting place. I was hoping it would lead me to the sender but it was getting late and I had to get home. Thanks for the cache Chefs, I hope it is not bringing you a recipe you require tonight.
The location is actually Upwey, not Belgrave Heights.

Parked very, very close to cache and turned on GPS, not needing to zero in I was able to grab the cache and shout Yippee, then run and drive. I had a new location in mind to leave the cache at and by the time I arrived at this new location Not a sole was around. This could be a fun one to do around lunch time for the next finder. Thanks Cooks on the Run. Regards the Coffee Elvis singing coffee grinders.

We have moved this cache to a busy shopping strip and this will increase the challenge for recovery.

Of course you only need to go there once so if you get seen it shouldn't matter.

Visiting after hours will see no problems at all.

Total distance moved is 38.3 km as the cocky flies.

This is our third and final visit to the cache.

Thanks chefs on the run

Went to pick this one up this morning on our way back from the Yarra, but had been beaten back to it by Geof on Friday.

Saw this had been placed near home with The Big T, so took off this morning to retrieve both. It seemed a good idea at first to do the same as Team_Diesel, which is to re-hide it with The Big T, however it proved to be more difficult than I thought, as I couldn't find an object exactly the same as the one that I retrieved The Big T from. This meant that the hide was not the best. Anyway this log should be about Return to Sender, which is now 8.85kms north (straight line) from where I picked it up. Thanks Chefs on the Run. This is my quota of three now.

Nearly got caught getting this cache as the user of the hide came along just before we went in for the grab.

Great location with so many choices. Thanks maccamob.

We have relocated this cache 47 km to the east and located it next to another moveable cache The Big T, so the next finder can score two caches for one visit.

As we were on the way home Gabrielle and I stopped to see if this one was still here. Wheeeeeeee! Yes it was. We snaffled the box and disregarded any onlookers (there were none) we spirited it back to the car.

Hidden by caughtatwork at 5:00

144 45.304
27.1k distance as the crow flies. Seems much longer to drive though.

Thanks chefs on the run. A cool little cache container that is now residing in the western side of town.

Hinty, hinty when you go looking for it now. It's not in the bushes Smile

PS. If you could update the co-ords at GCA it will help future finders as it still appears at the original co-ords.

PPS. I can't read properly. I've hidden it somewhere that's different from the place it should have been hidden. It's almost the same, but redder and bigger and not where you would want to put your letter. Sorry about that. If you know the partic series MMM, you should know what to hide it under next time.

Found by Facitman at 13:45 during his (ir)regular lunchtime walk.

My first GCA cache and it was almost "home delivered"! Only a short walk from my office was required to grab this cache that I've been hoping would move towards the city for sometime.

Waited at GZ for a chance to grab it without attracting the attention of many surrounding Muggles but it is somewhat different when you know that the cache does not need to return to the same hiding spot!

Will hide again shortly!

----

So many places to hide Smile! Dropped this one off on the way home, close to an important place for e-Facit and s-Facit. 5.1km as the crow flies, 6.1km car travel

Thanks Chefs for my first moveable!

About 15:30 we checked the location where Mr Coffee had left the cache but it had gone.

We did however see the Coffee GeoCruiser go past in the other direction.

I now see the pprass has taken the cache to the inner suburbs again.

Hopefully it will be around long enough to visit more of Partic's MMM locations

We had heard about these type of caches and were delighted when one turned up "near by". Grabbed it and placed it near our home. The object that we placed it in is slightly shorter than usual, but still the same shape and colour. It travelled 19.6kms NW.
Thanks Chefs for setting this up.
ps - for the next person who retrieves this cache, have a look at the red object 20 metres further south and note the dent in the pole on the road side. About 10 years ago there was a bomb scare where a passer by found a "package" taped to the pole. The police came out with the bomb squad and they shot it!!

21-Aug-05
Going along the road we noticed a cache symbol on the GPS and decided to stop off and grab the cache. Cache now at 38.01.332 x 145.19.226, which is a bit closer to Home for us. Total distance 36kms line of sight. Many thanks Chefs.
