Description

Nice small cache; our first hide!

This is our first hidden cache and hope that it is enjoyable to other cachers in finding it by a tree in the park. Small cache that has room for small swaps and signing of the logbook. A little rummaging around on the ground is required. N.B This cache is not in private land. Furthermore, it is not located in 'Blacktown Westpoint' as the location says above!

Found with Deputy D0g. Relatively easy find. just a bit of scratching around and it was ours.
Log book is a bait damp, unfortunately we didn't have a replacement or zip bags with us as it was just a quick drive by.

anyway found reasonably easy. scared about being sprung but it wasn't as exposed as Stumped, anyway thanks for the buzz of finding a cache that so many Heros Of The Game have had difficulty.

Thanks Curtle_'n'_Joshy for this information. I have gone to the cache and fixed it up. It is now lined with a plastic bag to keep everything dry.
Sorry cachers about all the fuss is about because this cache really is a good one and just requires a bit of patience to find.
Thanks,
The Crazyheads!!

Dont know what all the fuss is about with this cache. Went there around midday, twelvish, and was surprised to see no muggles.
Followed my GPS to a regular tree. Rumiging on the ground for about five minutes when my hand felt the familar suface of a cache.
Note to The Crazyheads! This cache needs serious matinance. Condensation as started and log is fairly damp. Nice cache though needs a check up.

Sorry, this is attempt 5 or 6 on this cache( I just didn't bother to log the other attempts), I give up. Will be taking this off my to do list, until someone else other than the cache hider or the FTF verify the exsistence of this cache.

Just a note: finding this cache may require more than one person. one to find and one to keep a look out for muggles

Hi fellow cachers,
This cache now has accurate coordinates and hopefully will be found by many people.

As Swampgecko says, I accompanied him on a trek to the slopes of mount Bungarribee where we conducted a fruitless search along the tree line and surrounding areas.

The area shows signs of recent activity of the grass cutting kind.

I have no Idea about this one... looks like someone has taken a mower to the area as well... atleast I am not alone in my frustration, this is also Frustrating Riblit

The middle of the day is not a good time to do this cache, there was just too much activity going on in the nearby houses.
I will come back either late at night or at sparrows.

Thanks Crazyheads

Hello,
Thanks for enlightening me of this matter. I will reevaluate the correct coords very shortly to correct this problem. Hope this does not deter your attempts at this cache.

When a cache is placed within walking distance its worth a visit. A quick check of the coordinates with Google Earth showed the cache appears to be in someones backyard. Undaunted I braved the heat of the afternoon and made my way to the electricity easement disguised as a park and followed the GPSr arrow until a fence line barred my way.

Google Earth is correct, GZ is 43 Metres West of the fence, well and truly inside private property. I even tried changing to GDA66 datum and reentering the coords. That gave me a location one street away in someone's front yard.

It wasn't a complete loss, I did find an old golf ball in the trees.

This one can wait until the coordinates are checked.
