Description
Another nice view from a hill to the islands off the coast.
This area is pronounced 'One Toro' and has great views out to the Amedee Island lighthouse and other islands in the bay on a clear day. Amedee island is an idyllic paradise for swimming and diving.
There is signs of a military history here and it has the mandatory items to commemorate its history.
To log this cache you need to visit the co-ordinates and find the object at the centre of the hilltop viewing area.
Then just email me with what it is. No spoiler photos please.

In April Muso Son and The Unicorn went on a cruise and before they left found this Virtual they could do. The weather wasnt the best during the cruise but were glad they could get someone to take a photo of them while they were there. The Unicorn had been there before so she knew what it was! TFTC

We have visited this location in the past but never realised there was a GCA cache here. Today we arrived here on the Pacific Jewel and needed to walk off Christmas lunch so we decided to find this cache. The views are spectacular from up here. TFTC

My second P&O Cruise to New Caledonia, but my first trip up here. Found the answer to the question easily enough and emailed the cache owner with the details. Thanks for bringing me up here Roosterman the view is awesome. It's a pity the local "artists" have been hard at work on the item in question and there must have been quite a party here last night judging by the amount of empty bottles lying around. I was also supprised to learn that they commemorate ANZAC Day here too.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Went to New Caledonia as part of a school trip.
I'm glad I found this cache because I had been to Amedee Island and not found the GC one there.
Caught this one while on 'Le peti Chu-Chu train' tour of Noumea. I got to the top of the hill and spotted the object on top. I had a print out of the cache details and map (Dad wouldn't let me bring the gps). So I showed the map to our tour guide who confirmed my location.
Really enjoyed it. Such a good view.
merci de la cache
