Enjoyed driving many country roads of the Eyre Peninsula, looking at the crops, great views and finding caches

Found It!
I parked only a couple meters away and spotted this one fairly quickly. Then just had to crawl into the bush and get it!

After caching in Tumby Bay we headed further down the highway and made our way along White River Road to the site of this cache. It was very quiet today and we had this area to ourselves. A short search uncovered the replacement container. After 12 months the cache is in good condition.
Mrs Y'stassie was sad that therewere no kewpie dolls let. As a child she had a treasured kewpie doll glittery with a feather dress and a fan of feathers attached to her back. She had be purchased at the local agricultural show instead of a show bag. She was a prized posession for many years.
Thanks for the Kewpie Doll cache Mr Walker and for the trip down memory lane. This is certainly a restful area.
Thanks also Four fun for the replacement cache.

Finished my visit to Port Lincoln now its time for the return trip so have started to make my way up the East coast of the Eyre Peninsular This one was a bit of a search but I got there eventually. The bushes have obviously grown a bit since this cache was placed but after some scratching around I eventually found the disintegrating remains of a purple plastic container, a smiley face token and some scraps of paper. No Kewpie doll unfortunately. I've replaced the cache container with a camo'd Sistema container and a new logbook (along with the smiley token)
Cheers & Thanks for a fun hunt Mr Walker.
PS. Someone is still using the area as a campsite from evidence of a recent campfire nearby

LOl Due to family/work circumstances, I havent had much time for geocaching lately. Some of my containers would be 4-5 years old. Might update the container in the holidays, but dont know where Ill ever find more kewpie dolls.
Certainly the easiest find of the GCA set of this series.
The container is brittle and started disintegrating in my hands as I picked it up. It's also full of water, not looking good for all those orphaned kewpie dolls within!
Thanks Mr Walker.

Took a while to find this one as GZ came out on the track and that was obviously not where it was, so hard to search further afield for quite a while before finding it as there are a lot of hiding places under bushes.
