Went for another nice walk in the park today only to discover that a waypoint had amazingly gone missing.
Considering that this cache hasn't had a visitor in over a year (perhaps it's too strenuous for many!) I have decided it's not worth the 6km walk to replace the waypoint & removed the cache while I was in the area.

This was a pretty good walk. Took lots of photos plus an audio commentary for a podcast hopefully. Even though I'd seen the final location many times I'd never been there, even though I could see it from a friends balcony. The cache was found on a rainy cold night at about 10:30pm and there definitely were no muggles around.TNLN
Before leaving Adelaide for NSW I took the chance to complete this cache.
Had to distract a workman who was spraying in the area before retrieving and returning the cache.
No swaps as I wasn't carrying any on this trip. Thanks for the cache.
Finally
this took some time to complete. After initially getting the three waypoints I approached WP4 only to find muggles galore. Today, no muggles and an easy find and then off to a quick find at the final location.

As with all good treasure hunters, armed with nothing more than half a map, a vague idea and a piece of information I overheard in some seedy South American bar, I found WP4 - which led me straight to the cache.
Surprised to find that after missing WP2 by millimeters the first time, GZ was also in a place I had looked before based on nothing more than it's a good hiding place. I just hadn't looked hard enough.

Apologies to any trying to find this cache.
I have discovered an error in my calculations for WP4 that means the calculations from the first three WP's will be out by about 60m.
Clues at first 3 WP's will be changed today to fix this. Sorry for any inconvenience, but then it is a 4.5 star difficulty

Still without WP2 I calculated two possible locations for WP4. Surprisingly both had good prospects.
At the first I was in the middle of blackberries on the side of the road. It looked like someone else had been there too as the grass was flattened. Looked behind the tree and the 80K sign but no luck.
The second led me to the middle of a cow paddock about 20 metres from reasonable hiding locations in 3 directions. Again I tried all 3 but nothing stood out.
Maybe the "tag" was a cow's ear tag and the cow walked away

Started with WP2 as a "driveby". The GPS took me straight to where I expected it to be. Locked on to the corner no worries. But no cache. I HATE MICROS. Tried a few other nearby corners but no luck. With climbers below me and being mindfull of not dislodging too many rocks I moved on to WP1.
At WP1 again locked on to "it" no worries, but no cache. Sat lock was moving a little so I checked out another "it" and several minor "its" in between. Then 15m up the track I noticed another "it" that looked interesting. Cache in seconds.
On to WP3. Easy.
The walk back to the car took me via WP1 again, but from the opposite direction, and again the GPS pointed 15m further on.
Oh well, at least I have 1 & 3, so now back to 2 for another look and maybe a different set of birds in the sky.

After working out WP4 (and a couple of variations just in case) I went for another stroll today. WP4 is certainly the easiest to find of all of them. (and has simple numbers on it) I thought I'd be doing another trek into precarious, life threatening terrain to get the cache, but was pleasantly suprised with nice easy walk to GZ. Also the FTF was a bonus. Despite all of the warnings (they are however VERY valid warnings) this was a very nice cache to do. TNLN SL Thanx Four Fun
Pleasant walk around areas of Morialta. WP1 had us going along the wrong track to start with. WP2 had us worried because of where the GPS was pointing, so I sent Kerry to get it. WP3 was a beautiful walk in and out of the park. Walking out just as the sun dropped below the hill giving a really brilliant orange flare. Disturbed a couple of skippy's (The real ones) along the edge of the track. Now to work out WP4. Why can't people just write simple numbers on clues anymore??
