Thanks to Outdoor nut22 for doing the brainwork for this one, we were off to find a couple of finds in the wonderful historical Windsor!
another quick park and grab theses have been great and I can't believe we haven't found them before, especially because Windsor isn't that far. don't know that I have ever been out to this area before so thanks, and next time I'm out and about and see parachuters in the sky I know where to come!

19-Oct-20
quick and easy park and grab on our way (slightly detoured of course) from Windsor to Richmond. Cache is still good and well but it looked like the container wasn't screwed up super tight and a small amount of moisture had got in at some stage, however log was still in good enough condition to sign. thanks very much

01-Jan-19
The weeds make it hard for us to get in, but all is good with this one.

21-Jul-18
Completed on a short morning run in the area, No Parachutes today, just a nice drive out here thanks - TFTC / TFTH / SL Clan Griffin

26-May-18
Found on my way to the events at Ebenezer. Just a slight detour! A quick find watched by some cows. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

#GA2271 - 11:40; When the States of the Nation game began, a plan was hatched for a group of ACT cachers to take a trip north to the Hawkesbury on a scavenger raid. As time passed the group's numbers dwindled, but with a bit of work solving puzzles and a few things rescheduled, our merry band comprising andrewbt, Sol de lune and I set off on a damp Canberra morning to try our hand. A recent visit to Canberra by cachers from this area provided an added incentive, so we could repay the karma points we gained from their visit. A successful day it turned out to be with 56 finds and only three DNFs. Made our way to GZ and cheecked one option before we found the cache nearby. Nice to pick up one of the older caches and seeing it is still in good nick. TFTC ack son of hack Very HappyClan Cerberus

Lovely spot! The cache had faded in colour from UV but in excellent order. For a great sunset view as a explored the GCA caches in the area this afternoon. Cheers!

Found this traditional with Team Merlin.

13-Apr-16
Out with JJCC driving the farmland route to Windsor. Stopped by to pick up this traditional...initially had us stumped but JJCC made the discovery in the end.

19-Mar-16
Found it on a drive out to Richmond. Havven't been along this road before a quick find at GZ. Thanks for the cache ack son of hack

27-Oct-15
Looking for this one gave me a chance to survey the weather. Was this a passing sprinkle or was it going to set in? Under an umbrella I found this one. Retrieved, signed log and replaced. (log dry).
I think the weather is going to break so off caching I go.....

26-Jul-15
Have worked at the nearby Base a few times, but first time down this road. Cache was found without issue and everything is in good shape...

Thanks for the cache...

01-May-15
All in good order here. We have to keeps Ack's caches alive.

28-Dec-14
a quick find. the sound of an aeroplane, or a remote controlled one in the background while I signed the log. I was hoping for a larger cache than this though.
thanks for the cache.

13-Oct-14
A short drive down Cupitts Lane with stormy sky above, and hence little chance of a view of a parachute or two. Near 16 months since the last log the cache is in good order - though grass and weed are overtaking the GZ. TFTC Smile

15-Jun-13
Found this one today with pjmpjm on our long loop around the mountains.
A quick stop close to GZ and the cache was in hand with no delay.
Thanks for the cache.

26-Apr-13

How very 'Slack' of me. Just noticed that this was crook. So on a round about trip from Northo over to Windsor and back home getting the Approach cache, I stopped and replaced the whole cache with something slightly bigger.

18-Jul-12
Log is full, needs to be replaced.

18-Jul-12
bikerbuddy & I were in Richmond to find a GC puzzle cache, to keep our streaks going for the 100 day challenge. After we logged that one, I suggested that we should look for a few GCA caches in the area, to get a few more finds for the day without removing any potential GC from our list as we enter the last half of our streaks.

This one was close by & proved an easy find for bikerbuddy. And I've since realised that it might also meet a geosportz 2012 requirement, so even better.

Thanks Very Happy

PS: log is full, needs replacing

18-Jul-12
There were no parachutists there today, but there were a few curious (or bored) cows that came up to investigate the car as we pulled up. Then they all hightailed it when they saw me. Young children seem to have the same reaction. Anyway, the hide didn't present any difficulties, so this was another of my rare GCA cache finds. Thanks

14-Jul-12
Found with blossom* while chasing some nice caches for our Geosportz game. No planes or parachutes in the air to see this morning but it's a lovely quiet road so no trouble retrieving the cache.

14-Jul-12
Looking for a nice cache for the Geosportz game I noticed this good one right near our day's activites - and a GCA one to boot Dancing It was a lovely day and a nice easy find. The log book is chock-a-block full though so you would be hard pressed to find our initials written between someone else's name!

Please replace the log Smile

Interesting little cache container, which I've seen before in the Blue Mountains. Very tricky to find, but the CO's clue points the way.

The log scroll is nice and dry, but more or less completely full. GazMag helpfully included another little piece of paper, and I used the back side of it for my own log.

Didn't see one parachute! Darn!

But a nice outing on a summer's morning to a very pleasant rural part of Richmond.

Many thanks to ack son of hack for this one.

21-Nov-10

Very easy find. Out his way as my daughter was playing CHS tennis opposite the RAAF base.

16-Feb-08
Nice easy one, no jumpers today. Good one to finish the day off. Thanks ack.

01-Dec-07
Everything was very quiet today - I guess nobody wanted to be out in the rain. Fortunately I found something out of place and quickly found the little cache. I decided that taking the whole thing to the dry if the car was the best way to keep it dry. Not surprisingly there were no other seekers while it was away.

23-Sep-07
Quick find. Lovely area and view!! TFTC.

22-Aug-07
This one could have been harder if I hadn't just put one of these containers out yesterday. Found after dark with the headlamp torch

TNLN

19-Aug-07
This one popped up on the radar this afternoon as we were driving along in the rain looking for puddles to wash the car with.

This container reminds me of another cache...

Found quite easily, logged and returned. Too wet for any skydiving today...

Thanks Acko.

25-Jul-07
There were no mushrooms in the clouds today just one lonely jet which roared over. The cache was an easy find dispite it's size. The cache was not quite large enough for our swaps. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Easy find after i figured which wire i was looking for. Took a long a muggle or two so they could see where i keep disappearing to in my free time. No jumpers today but a herc lining up for a drop as we left.
