It took me two attempts to get to GZ. My first attempt, at midday, got within 25m of GZ. I would discover later that I just needed to push on a bit further but, at the time, I decided to back away and see if there was another way in. By the time I realised there was no other way in I was on my way to my next destination, Castle Cliff Trig, so I revisited GZ on my return.

The trail to GZ is getting degraded. Parts are steep and slippery. Trees have fallen on it and covered it up and where it crosses a semi-dry creek it is lost in tall weeds.

However, the effort to get through is rewarded with a wonderful GZ. The rock/cave looks like the remains of a giant crab that has come off second best in a battle with Godzilla. It reminds me of the Big Lobster in Kingston, South Australia.

This was my final stop on a 44km training walk and from here it was back down Narrowneck and out to Green Gully (aka Dunphy's) in the Megalong Valley.
Special thanks to the Crazyheads. I love hides in bush that involve some good bushwalking leading to great locations and you have served up three beauties. The cache is in good shape. Found at 1:18 pm.

I wasn't able to attend the mini event yesterday, but after an exploration around the Devils Hole, we decided to come back up and go for a stroll on Narrowneck. I didn't actually have my GPS today, but had been given a clue by a previous finder after my DNF in march. We found it pretty quickly today, then explored the surrounding rocks before bush bashing up the slope towards the Castle Head track.

Found as a gang of 5 on the Mini Event today. It's always amazing what wind can do to sandstone and there are plenty of fine examples here.
The GPS had us heading over the edge at first but settled down to point to the correct and safe hide after a couple of minutes.
Thanks for the great location.
We then headed off in the wrong direction for a while before coming to our senses to get to Serendipity.

My first ever GCA cache. I was intending to do a GCA cache eventually but was nice to experience in a group. Enjoyed the view and the company.

Great view from this spot, just a little windy today.

Finally got around to doing this old cache as part of a group, we got to GZ with no problem and after a bit of searching Baktrak came up with the goods under the watchful eye of pjmpjm as previous finder.
This cache is not in a dangerous spot so if you find yourself doing something remotely dangerous you are in the wrong place!
We all signed the log and returned to the track for the next cache.
Thanks for a great cache in a great spot, loved it.

Visited here with the group attending the GCA 'Narrow Neck Mini Walk' event.

The wind was blowing a gale . . .

But the views were excellent . . .

I ran out of time to look for this on my last walk out along narrowneck, so went back this evening to finish the job. I didn't find the cache, but did have a good old poke around, eventually circumnavigating the big rock feature (which was a bit hairy in places). Was particularly impressed when I looked into what I thought was a ledge on the southern face of the 'cave', but in fact the 'air gap' went all the way through to the other side. It seemed to defy gravity.

Even though I DNF I enjoyed the location and the walk (once off the fire trail), so thanks crazyheads.

Found on the same day as 'serendipity'. Great Cache, fantastic views. Very HappyVery HappySmile

After finding death-defying 'Serendipity' under the 'Eight Legged Monster' I strolled less than 200 metres towards this cache, expecting a bit of a struggle with the terrain towards the end.

I wasn't disappointed. Although, strictly speaking, this isn't a 'bush bash' -- because there's more or less a trail to follow -- it sure feels like a bush bash at times! But the distance wasn't too long -- if you don't counts the ups and downs -- and I was soon climbing the final metres towards the high-altitude 'cave' with its panoramic views.

Initially I was a bit upset to find a very likely hiding place exactly at the published coordinates, and exactly fitting the CO's description of the hiding place, which was completely empty. A number of stones were strewn about and it looked like a muggled cache -- or a decoy! I had quite a good look in this location, putting my hand and arm in places where you shouldn't really put your hand or your arm, before spiraling out in my search, checking other rocky hides. I actually found another nice cave, which didn't look like much on the outside, but which proved to be very interesting on the inside.

In the end I discovered the cache safe and sound in a more ordinary hiding place, about 6-7 metres from what my GPSr thought were the correct coordinates. Of course, the fault may have been with my GPSr or with the satellites! In any case, I was delighted to find the container after my long walk -- some 3km round-trip -- and to be able to complete the formalities.

All was in good order. Container was in satisfactory shape and the contents were dry. TNLNSL.

Many thanks to The Crazyheads for a great cache, with a great view!

"Four Thumbs Up" for the high-altitude cave and view.

Wasn't going to let the rain from stopping me from caching!

Unfortunately I had no vew but I could still appreciate an amazing formation.

It seemed a warm humid day even though the temperature was 18oC. We had decided to MTB ride Narrow Neck. The views at the cache were spectacular. Cache in good order. TFTC

After enjoying the magnificent views at the last cache and having a laugh at the two bike riders we saw take a spill and yelling of profanities on the hill across from GZ we ventured onto this cache, it was a slow climb down but nice and cool our of the sun.

We were then treated with another GCA cache find and ventured a little further up to do the official log signing and were treated with some more stunning views of this great area.

Another Fantastic cache and one highly recommended.

Although i certainly wouldn't attempt it after or during any rain.

Nice spot with a gorgeous view. Well hidden.... took a litle time to find it in the baking sun, but luckily the cave was nearby to take a shady break in! No swaps.

This was a nice walk in before the plunge down the side of a steep embankment, fortunately there were plenty of trees to assist in our decent. The effort is truly worth it though when you see the views we had from this location. Thanks sooo much for bringing us here another top spot, many photo's were taken and some other foootage as well!! Signed the log book but took nothing out. nothing in either.

Wow what a view!
Knew the Naroow Neck Area from almost 3 years ago and this one was really worth the short detour.
Great views and big fun with really nice cachers out here.

This is what I returned for. More stunning views. SpinDoc was the one to find it this time. TNLNSL. This a great spot and definitely worth the visit out. Cheers!

This was a superb cache location and not really a bush bash at all. Great rocky out crop with views to die for.
No swaps. Highly recommend the walk out.

Having completed Daylight nearby, our group of merry cachers decided to see what the GCA caches on Narrow Neck had to offer. And they didn't disappoint. Great views, logically hidden cache and (did I say) great views. Who said GCA caches aren't as good?

Thank you for a great cache.

What a fine spot this is and not at all difficult to get to. A goodish track all the way. There is a tree down in one spot but no great obstacle. At GZ the cache was readily found and we contemplated the wonderful view whilst carrying out the cache duties on this windy but sunny day.

This is an excellent cache location which we liked very much. We took the little cross and left a child's necklace and some small karabiners.

Was a bit of a bush bash. There was a tree over the track in a very steep spot. I was so close that I wasnt going to give up. Great location.

Hooray a first to find. It was a bit rainy and a little slippery but cheers to my geohusband for finding the cache - coords were a little skew-if.

Took nothing , left pencils.

Great view.
