Regrettably the mist was so heavy I couldn't see the view. I had started walking at 7.30am, coming up from Dunphy's Camping Area. Great walk, lovely bush and plenty of wildlife including mobs of kangaroos.

The box is close to the edge and quite heavy so I had to be careful retrieving it. The PS1 is still there and looks to be in perfect working order! The 8-legged giant looks to have aged a bit and so has the container which is beginning to perish, with small cracks in the lid and two clasps broken off.

Thanks The Crazyheads. Found at 11:56 am.

After taking the long route from Bush Bash 712, we were rewarded with more fine views at this hide. With a precarious display of gymnastic ability, the cache was plucked from the bowel of the beast without arousing its ire.
Another great spot, TFTC

After leaving 'Bush bash 712' we eventually arrived at this cache with a bit of a navigational detour. Once retrieved I sat down near the area to see if I was able to retrieve by myself after signing the log. A good cache for my second ever GCA. Once again I enjoyed being able to share this experience with others. Off we went to find another. TFTC.

Thank goodness for the many legged animal at GZ, otherwise I wouldn't have gone near this one. Great cache and great views!!!!

After we left 'Bush bash 712' for some unknown reason the group started in the wrong direction and eventually the light dawned on us that we needed to do a 180 to get back on track, I blame too much talking and not enough navigating!
All came good in the end and we all got to GZ, however the very strong gusty wind did not make for a safe retrieval, but it was achieved. Not by me I hasten to add as my vertigo got the better of me. However the cache was passed onto the rest of the group so we all signed the log.
The cache was returned safely to its place and nobody lost their life!
Thanks for a great location, even if I could not get too close to the edge, the view is outstanding.

Visited here today with the GCA 'Narrow Neck Mini Walk' event.

I checked out some old, familiar places . . .

Great views!

I went out for a walk along narrowneck today. I was overtaken by a plethora of runners, no doubt training for the 6 foot track. The view from GZ was beautiful. Thanks for showing me this spot, Crazy Heads

PS1 still in there. Cool

The Narrow Neck caches were my suggestion for today, I suggested we try for all 3, but soon agreed that this one would have to satisfy us for the day after some of the sliding we both did over some of the rocks.

I didn't find the retrieval of this one too bad, but then I got to sit back from the edge & wait for the container to passed up to me by bikerbuddy who did some great snake impersonations to collect it.

Views were fantastic, we had a brilliant day to sit back & take in the views once we'd replaced the cache & moved back from the edge. Thanks.

This cache was found as part on expedition to look for three caches on Narrow Neck today, but we only ended up with one, due to the slippery rocks around the place after rain. I must admit, when we got to this one I was fairly uncertain about trying to retrieve the rather large cache from its eyrie position. The steep drops so close spooked me, but in the end found that laying full out on the ground and reaching down for the cache was the smartest thing to do, rather than trip out onto the ledge, and maybe take another trip just a little further beyond that. After all this time the cache is actually in pretty good condition. Some great views, but I admit I was glad to do the log and get the cache back in position. Thanks

Took the short detour on the way back to the car to grab this cache, I was only given enough time to grab the one cache though. The fog and mist cleared just enough to give a clue of the views that are on offer from this spot, I'll be back on a clear day to grab the nearby cache and take in the views.

Thanks.

More than a 3km walk along beautiful Narrow Neck, round-trip, and it was all worth it!

I had braced myself for a death-defying cache retrieval operation at the end, and the effort eventually required was indeed somewhat of a challenge -- although not at much as I'd expected from the descriptions in the online logs. Nevertheless, this geocache isn't for acrophobics.

Views were great! This is a wonderful spot. While I was there, the sun was shining and yet there was a substantial shower of rain for a couple of minutes, which was quite magical. Two weeks ago I was geocaching in the snow not far away from here, while the spring sun was shining. I love the Blue Mountains!

The large cache container was basically in OK shape but was very slightly damp inside. I dried it out and noticed a small cracked area on the bottom of the container. Unfortunately I couldn't fix it, and suggest that the CO might want to upgrade the box in due course. But it might be OK for some time, so long as finders look after it.

TNLNSL.

Thanks very much to The Crazyheads for another good one in this beautiful spot.

'Four Thumbs Up' rating for the view and innovative (and scary) hiding place!

Not quite the eight legged monster I imagined!

I am probably lucky I couldn't see the drop in the fog!?!

Found this one with ease. Cache is in good order and well protected from the weather. We were on a MTB ride along Narrow Neck and thought we would stop off for the view. View was spectacular as expected.

It was perfect weather for a Blue Mountains Bushwalk and it wasn't long until we were blessed with the magnificent views at GZ.

We didn't know what we were in for going off past logs but the cache was easily accessible.

The log was signed, the views were enjoyed and we were also picked up a travel bug in the form of a Stick Insect.

After spending the previous day in and around Bathurst it was fantastic to get out into the bush with some magnificent views and finding a real cache instead of a micro.

A very much enjoyed cache. and best of all it was a GCA cache.

Awesome spot. Blood chilling retrieve. Not for the geokiddies!

I was part of the team of seven that conquered Daylight today. So after a short break and a change of clothes, it was time to continue our caching assault on this area. We actually went further in and got another nearby cache before this one. This one was well placed I had to assist in the removal of this one due to the shear wait of it!
Made my log and passed it on nothing taken, nothing put in. Thanks for the cache. Top Spot!

Another close by look out with similar views as the bush bash XY. Again WOW!
And what a big box!

Rode out here on my mountain bike. Was a pretty easy ride, and was rewarded with some fantastic views! Wow. I have never seen Lake Burragorang from this angle before.

Didn't do any swaps, just signed the logs. Thanks for the cache it really is a great spot.

Returned with most of the other cachers who did Daylight earlier. I wanted to find another cache nearby which I didn't have time to look for.

Another stunning cache location. The eight legged beast was soon found and with it the very large cache. I wedged myself in to retrieve it, wow was it heavy, so had to pass it on to ruffasguts4x4 so I didn't roll off the side off the cliff. Sure is a long way down.
This was another great walk along Narrow neck. No swaps. With the caching duties complete, it was off to wander further along the dusty road and bid our farewell to Spindoc and Ruffasguts

Another cache with an amazing view - WOW! I replaced the cache and must admit that the height didn't bother me all that much. A great walk, through amazing scenary and a big cache at the end. This is what it's all about. I have a PS2 and getting a PS3 soon. Maybe I should have grabbed the PS1 for the set?

After completing the other nearby sister cache to this one we wandered over towards the cliff edge wondering what lay in store. As "soft option" is our unofficial motto and we have no agreement to speak of with heights, it was with some trepidation that we approached the cache location. Spotted the 8 legged beast and shortly thereafter spotted the enormous cache container. Also spotted the enormous drop. Mmmmmmmmmm......

It was an amusing little retrieval which in the end was achieved fairly easily. Once again we contemplated a superb view whilst completing the cache duties. We made no swaps. The computer game thingy still resides in it's plastic eyrie - we're far too ancient for that sort of thing.

Thanks Crazyheads for a couple of wonderful caches in a spectacular area.

! Wow. The cliff wasn't high but it packed an awesome view. Much much more than i had expected on a simple side path!! tnln! tftc!

On a wet and windy Katoomba morning, I hung my ass over the cliff and grabbed this one. The view from the cache location is amazing. This is definately not for those with a fear of heights!

I thought my cache "Air" in the Hunter Valley was a bit scary. Not now.

Note; The Playstation is still there!

Congrats on the first to actually log this one. I went there took a few deep breaths reached out and touched it even took a photo about 2 weeks ago but could get no further than that - so I write this note to let you know that I had a go.

Nice hike and view but the cache is not for the wimpy.

Cheers

At last my first FTF.
Great views. I've never been to the cliffs here, even though I've driven out past here many times.
Hairiest retrieval I've done so far.
Didn't bring much with me, so I only left a couple of batteries - no swap.
Just missed a ride back to the gate with the tower operator.
