Description
Once you get to the general area, reaching the cache location and finding the cache should be a breeze.
This cache is the first one to be placed by Team Teri (-1+1). Once you are in the area it is very easy to reach and should not be too difficult to find. The trip to Cape Leveque itself however is currently only advisable in a sturdy 4WD. For now that is - visit this beautiful location soon before the sealed road from Broome is completed in 2011 or so. It will be packed full of tourists, spoiling much of its natural wilderness beauty. The cache is on land that can only be visited after paying a 'permit fee' of $5 per person. While a cache as such would hardly be worth that, the landscape you get to see certainly is. The picture shows the view from the cache location. The ripples on the water indicate an extremely fast current caused by the huge tidal movements of the Kimberley. We hope you take as much enjoyment from this trip as we did! Enjoy the treasure hunt!
