had to backtrack 3 km's after we had got to the next one, and realised this one was still waiting. Smile Got to within 4 metres and soon enough had a cache in hand from amongst the rapidly growing coastal wattles. All in good nick here Sirius 'ol son. TFTC. Clan Minotaur

Stopped by this cache while on the way to the caches at the end of gardens rd. Luckily there wasn’t many people around so it made the search easier. After signing the log I took in the view of the area. TFTC

A day off and decided to escape to NE Tasmania and then on to my parents to catch up with them after returning from the mainland
I came to this location looking for an earth cache and decided I should check for GCA caches and found three to find

Thanks for the cache siriusTas; found with AlbyDangles and Lil Rafa.
After a big day geocaching yesterday in and around Swansea, then up to St Helens for more caching by moonlight; and an overnight stay.
Glad we have this lovely part of the world to ourselves here this morning.
My first visit out to the The Gardens!
AlbyDangles must have almost trodden on the cache, but dismissed the area and moved on - or maybe he was just being polite and letting me find it. (I think not the latter!).
Cache was holding a little water, which we drained, but sorry, nothing to dry it out completely. Logbook inside the bag was all good though.
Thanks for bringing me here - how good is Tassie?!

Found with EeePees and AlbyDangles on a short weekend visit to the East Coast. Never been to the Gardens before, absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for bringing us here!

As we headed toward GZ a campervan was parked just above where the cache. Bugger! OK, we'll go to the end for a while and try again on the way back.
All clear on the return so Miss J and I went for a look, approaching GZ from below. It didn't take long to find it.
Thanks Sirius!

Away 3 night stay in St Helens with my craft friends.....well I could say more of a get away as Caching takes place as well. Had a day out exploring on my own for the day. Was happy with 18GC & 2GCA Finds & 1 DNF for the day and lots seen I was happy with the out come.
I haven't done many GCA caches so thought I would see what was out this way at the end if the road.

Soon had cache in hand. Old logs were very wet and rusty so I put in a new log
Thanks for the hide

Returned to the Gardens this evening to find a couple of GA caches in the area.
Quick find.
The container was full of water, and the log is very damp.
I’ve e emptied the container, but the log will need replacing, unfortunately I had no cache gear with me, so couldn’t do anything with it.
I dud manage to sign the log though.

Wow, this cache has been a mite lonely. Last visited almost 2 years ago. Such a magical spot too. All still snug in it's hidey hole. Thanks for another reason to re-visit The Gardens Sirius - though we shouldn't really need one.

25-Nov-12

Wind was starting to pick up by the time I got to here but it was still a glorious East Coast day. Cache was uncovered when I found it and was wet. Dried it out as much as I could, thankfully log book was still dry. Signed the log and replaced the cache with a bit more cover this time. Thanks for the cache

We hadn't been to this part of the East Coast before and today must have been the best day to come - clear blue skies, warm weather and a gentle breeze. The views were spectacular. Accurate coordinates and a good hint resulted in a quick find. TFTC Sirius

We did the whole day for this find - packed the barbie, wetsuits snorkels, masks, kids etc etc. Bit of a windy day but out of the wind don on the beach all ok. Found the cache before we set up camp (priorities!). TFTC.

25-Jan-09
I haven't driven all the way up here for years and I wasn't sure if I'd do the drive just for a cache cause I remember how awful the road was in places. I was pleasantly surprised to find the road had been sealed the whole way up! As luck would have it, every single parking space on the way up had a car or two parked in it, except for this one! Thanks sirius, a beaut spot.

10-Jan-09
Nice spot even on a windy day. Lots of kelp around the shore I expect blown up by the wind.
Thanks Sirius Tas

31-Dec-08

16-Dec-08
Wonderful spot - could have spent a lot of time here just soaking up the tranquility, but no, there are caches to be found...

10-Dec-08
What a magic place. I have never been here before and I stayed for ages.
I had the best weather it was warm and still and as much as I don't like sand that water was impossible to resist. I thought I was alone and the man collecting seaweed was equally shocked when we bumped into each other. I don't think what either of us was doing was technically legal.
Huge thanks for an awesome cache sirius

27-Jul-08
It was quite windy and wet here this afternoon, but as I signed the logbook I saw 2 rainbows.....very impressive.

It's a beautiful part of the world here, even with the weather like this!

Thanks for the cache!

Cache in top nick and should be a stayer as muggles unlikely to find.
Thanks Sirius.
