I stayed on the main track so as to minimalise geotrail making, and sent in my colleague who made a quick find.
Thanks for the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.
It wasn't long before this on was found.
EeePees and I were on a weekend away finding caches.
This one of your was on of many that we found.

Another quick find on the track. TFTC
This was the first one for the day after drawing level with our gps point directly up the hill the hint item was spotted.
Open the cache the contents was wet and the logbook was saturated only just able to sign our name. This one could do with a bit of tlc from the owner.

Final cache in the series for us, there are still a lot in the area to come back and visit but this trail was a bit special.
Our thanks again for all the work the volunteers both track and cache have put into this area, well worth the visit!
TFTC!!
We were tired and sore again but felt a great sense of achievement at completing this walk, series, and journey. We know now that if we had have stayed on Dooleys and not followed Lucys we could have actually done all of Dooleys in the one trip. But I think I'm glad we did it the way we did.
Thanks so much sirius Tas and spreyton22 for all these caches. Without you two we would have never experienced this area.
Thanks also to Bill Shepherd and Max Richardson for the work they have done recently to rebuild and maintain the track.
until the next adventure......................
After finishing off the other part of the trail we drove down to the parking area and walked the 600m to ground zero, it took a bit of searching but myself and Paul both spotted the hide location at the same time and we were very pleased to find the cache since I had left the spares in the car
Cache was a little worse for ware but after a bit of a clean out it looks all the better now.
We walked past what's left of the picnic area, if the council cant even repair this area what chance does the rest of the trail have, our thanks goes out to all the volunteers that have made our last two walks in the area possible.

All geocachers and bush walkers alike should appreciate their enormous effort, otherwise these trails would still be closed.
While I have helped a little over recent yrs. ill health just hasn't enabled me to lend any help at all....so I can appreciate the enormous task that both Bill and Max have undertaken and I owe them bigtime as access to my geocaches simply would not be possible.
So please spare a thought when walking these trails as to the huge amount of work undertaken and if anyone can lend a hand at any time it would be most welcome.
All logical spots hunted but being with Mrs Beetles2 a hint was asked for Ummm well its been a while but I thought it
was ..................... Hmmmm well the only spot I havent checked matches that. Nature had fallen.
So some gymnastics and whaddya know there was the cache completely covered over.
Log signed and onwards.

Oldsaint said he was going to watch me find this one - no hints as it took him half an hour to find. He was rather annoyed that it only took me 3 minutes to zero in on the cache.
The outside bag is wet through, along with the entire cache
Found the cache at 1000 11.29
Car fixed, found "Flummoxing Fungi" and came on to look for this cache.
Struggled at first but got it in the end. My leg is hurting like hell!
Came across a wasps nest not far from GZ. Wasps everywhere!
Grasshoppers with goldish coloured wings everywhere too - the trout would be loving them.
River low, but good fishing level.
Logged the cache at 1410hrs.
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.
Nice cache, thanks.
I had perfect weather and the sounds of the birds singing and the river flowing made it such a sweet experience!
After finding all the caches along this walk, and checking out the dam at the end, I returned to the car along the easy track.
I stopped at the tables back near the car and set up my fishing rod but then couldnt find any decent access to the river so I just flicked a fly from the bank. The river was flowing very fast and i lost a few flies in quick succession so I gave it away for when the level subsides a little.
Thanks sirius Tas! Top cache
Happy to have found this one, we headed off to number 2.

A nice walk on a river, in a spot not many people know about, with a simple waypoint offset to work out!
Had to wait out a snake near GZ...eventually he decided we were not worth eating!
Found the cache without any (other) dramas!
Thanks Sirius for the top cache (and thanks for listing it on GCA!)!
It was too late in the day to do #2, but we enjoyed the area so much that we have committed ourselves to finishing off this set!
Thanks Sirius get the other one another time.
installments. Found fairly easily once I trusted
that I counted the tables correctly and the coords that my GPS were pointing me to were right. TNLN Thanks sirius.
