And now Canberra has Cachey McCacheface.
A standard small painted sistema cache, but it's all about the name in this instance.
Be careful around GZ...especially if it's wet underfoot

Found with James0116 whilst staying with me for a couple of nights. Quick find at GZ, a very funny cache name, Boaty McBoatface deserves recognition through geocaching. Lovely views, nice area, apart from finding certain types of rubbish on the ground. TFTC SdL, continuing the trend of finding many, many of your caches!

I wanted to get out for a ride to give the scooter a run before needing it to travel to work. I had been leaving a cache on Black Mountain this cache till I was ready for a hike, but today it was nicely alone so I could go out for one only. In the end the walk down and then back up again was no where near as difficult as I expected. Nice area. When I got back up I had a bit of time so alose found some nearby GA caches.
Thanks for the cache Sol de Lune

Soo beautiful up here on the mountain tonight with picturesque views of the city lights and tower. Searching by torchlight, GLISS! soon had the cache in hand. Such a relief after our DNF earlier tonight. We were really keen for a cache tonight to celebrate the anniversary of the Lane Cove cache! Thanks for a lovely short evening stroll. Thanks for the cache.
It's a caching anniversary today, so Nibletricecakes and I targetted a gca to celebrate. This was a quick find with a lovely view tonight. I

Parked at a familiar spot and made my way down to GZ. Took a little while to spot as it was quite well hidden (needed the hint!).
Thanks,

Finally got out to do some caching. The minniek 'powertrail' looked to be just what I needed for some quick GA's.
Just a couple of hours before dark on this beautiful, clear Canberra day.
At the end was this cache, which I expected to be a quick find!
But no, it was missing again!
Fortunately, I was prepared with replacement materials and I put in a temporary replacement.
I am communicating with the CO about this.
great place for the cache, Sol De Lune.

Dropped Wilma at school and thought I'd do some caches on the way home. One thing lead to another and I was on a roll collecting lots of GCA caches in the area. I had not updated my GCA caches in a few weeks and so was looking at the wrong Coords and hint for a bit, ready to give up when I though I ceck if there are new logs and I was very happy to find that this one could be found as the CO replaced it, signed the new log and was on my way. Thanks SDL for putting this one out and especially doing the maintnance on it!
Headed up to check this one to find it was certainly missing. Maybe thrown downhill near the shopping trolley!!!
I was probably a bit ambitious in the placement as thinking back it was a little obvious.
So, I have moved it about 30 metres to another location. Co-ords and hint have been updated.

I think this one is gone. I visited the location on two days and had a thorough look. Found lots of empty beer bottles but no sign of a cache.

I headed out today to grab some caches for the SoN game. This one fitted the elevation we were seeking and looks like the best points available atm. So cache grabbed and then also picked up a multi I have been after for some time. Beaut day to be out caching with mates. TFTC
KittyKath and Joolay picked me up to grab the caches for the state of the nation game and off to black mountain. We parked the car and Joolay found a track that we followed and it wasn't long until we spotted the cache, signed the log and off to get a GC cache close by taht KittyKatch had tried to get a couple o times. tftc Sol De Lune

After finding the six new caches along this road we stopped to look for this one at five to three. Would we have time to make it to the published coordinates, find the cache, sign the log and return and get back to the car in time to listen to the race. Maybe, maybe not however not even the Melbourne Cup stops us caching.
We headed down hill towards GZ where we had no trouble locating the cache. All was good with the cache and contents. We replaced it as found and headed up hill. We enjoyed the short walk through the bush, the view, the hide and the wild flowers.
Thanks for this cache Sol de Lune. And yes we just got bach to the car in time to listen to the end of the cup

Met up with fitzy after work today for this one - avoiding the rain which was nice. A short walk and we located the cache. Im glad we didnt have to walk far as it was a bit slippery as SDL warns.

GCA 1794. Nice quick find after the rain this afternoon with minniek.
We met up after work and drove up to a familiar spot (to me) for the short walk down to GZ. Nice quick find. Glad it wasn't down near the GC cache SDL and I did years ago !

#GA2024 - 17:25; After attending a CITO in the south of town, I still had a couple of caches on my 'to do' list for the day, although this wasn't originally one of them. I decided that the swampy cache nearby should be on the list too and made my way in for a find only to see that the CO had also been there earlier in the day! Anyway, after collecting that one, I decided that this cache would do for my dZ filler today and I made my way up the hill to an area I have visited once or twice before. I was grateful things didn't get too steep today and once at GZ I added a Smiley McSmileface for the find. TFTC Sol de lune
