Was on the way up to the tulip farm when the farmer wasnt ready so had to wait half hour so decided to walk along the river to find this cache, with a walking stick and a keen eye for those slithering things off i set, i got to GZ where a quick check of the hint i was sure id find the cache. after searching for approx 10 minutes i couldnt find anything, i noticed that the water level from the last flood looks like it reached here which could be why i couldnt find it. a DNF for me today so walked back to the car with no find today
Almost a year since last found, but the cache is all good and the log dry...
Parked at the end of the road and took the 600 odd metre walk to GZ. Hint was spot on and so the cache was soon in hand. After 12 months, was pleased it was. A neat walk, but wow, the river is low...
Thanks Sirius Tas...didn't go for number one, so was happy with just this one.

GPSR off today, but common sense took over. Easy find, beware of muggles. Cache dry but contents damp. TNLNSL

Found on a beautiful afternoon for caching. A lovely walk along the riverbank resulted in a quick find. Probably would never have come this way but for the chance of a smiley! TFTC
Hi
Found this cache while traveling up to the north west. An enjoyable day.
After driving from Launceston a run / walk was the thing I needed to stretch the legs. In a couple of places the river had come over the track, but these were picked around easily enough. Thanks the cache, I will be back for number one later.

Hi sirius Tas
After walking to Inglis Trail #1 and having logged it. I looked at the GPS and #2 was only some 350 metres away. (Hadn't read that it was a circuit!)
Off I goes along the trail to where the GPS said 50 metres to go! Only that 50 metres was perpendicular to my position across the river.
Walked up a little further and could not see a river crossing any where (didn't go far enough!)
OldSaint turns round and walks back to the car.
As he's walking, he is thinking what a cunning old swamp fox is sirius; making people walk double the distance to get the two caches.
Again, I emphasize that I should read the caching page before attempting a find on a cache. But as you can tell, it adds to the excitement of the hunt.
I actually wondered how many others have had this happen to them or maybe I'm the only blunder head!!!
Anyway cache one down; now to drive as close as possible to the second to make the walk as short as possible.
Nearly 700 metres.
Off I go!
Again, this side of the river was as enjoyable as the other.
Passed a white bait fisherman on the way in and he was still there on the way out but had not had any luck to then.
Arrived at ground zero and found the hide quickly. Was about to make an extraction but was greeted by an inchman poised to nip!
The cache was extracted, the log signed and the container replaced at 1153hrs.
Thoroughly enjoyed doing both caches. Thanks for this "two" part series.
Cheers OldSaint.

A big thank you to sylken for replacing the ziploc...I had this cache on my visit list...but thanks to you I can now cross that one off....very much appreciated....cheers.
Can't believe how long it has been since this cache was logged. Also can't believe how abundant are the walking trails in Tassie. Councils, National Parks and the Forestry Commission all put in a lot of time and effort building and maintaining these fantastic areas. Cache was still in reasonable condition. Just added a new zip lock bag to the log. We were actually interrupted by a muggle just as we were retrieving the cache so pretended that we were admiring and discussing the fungus growing near where the cache was hidden. Thanks for bringing us here.
Will have to come back for this one. Walked all the way to the bridge only to find that the return track on the other side of the river was closed.
Nice easy find - once at GZ wondered if cache may have been a victim to the floods but there it was still in its spot. Contents were wet but log book ok zip lock bag closed nice and tight. TFTC

Found #1 on the way up to Smithton, and stopped in to complete the set on the drive home. It is very calm and peaceful along here.
well I made a right mess of this one!
I had stayed up till all hrs of the morning watching the Tour De France so I decided to ride my pushbike to GZ.
The front brake had somehow jammed so it took forever to get the front wheel on, but me being somewhat stubborn spent ages fixing it when I should have just thrown it back in the back seat and walked.
Anyway I managed to get it on and off I went. Im not used to bikes without motors so the narrow path was a little challenging! Once again I was determined to not give up but the heavy rain from the night before made the track extremely boggy but even worse was it made the boarded sections very slippery.
I only discovered that when I approached one (possibly travelling a little too fast) and the moment my front wheel hit it down I went!
I lay there for a minute thinking 'what the hell just happened?' then I realised not only was my bike teetering on the edge of a steep drop - so was I
I reached for the railing and while holding it I used the lanyard (which was around my neck and just so happened to have looped itself over one of the handle bars when I crashed)to pull my bike back up.
Back on the boarding I then looked around and thought 'holy crap I hope no one saw that'
I limped my way back to the car and decided that from now on I am going to walk to every cache I do !!
All rather funny looking back now and I have some rather cool looking bruises to show the kids when I get home
Thanks sirius Tas.... I suspect you are going to give me a 'good talking to' when you see me next

A tree there now appears to be more of a (tallish) stump. A very good hide. I looked in and saw the cache, (a fair way back) so found a good stick and in my effort to retrieve it, hid it so well that I was no longer sure if it was even there. Had to bite the bullet, get close and stick my arm in. A nice little stroll along the river bank, thanks Sirius.
At gz the area has suffered some damage from the recent storms but the cach is still safe and dry. TNLN Thanks

This took waaay longer than it should have... I looked in the obvious spot first but didn't find anything (with the thick cobwebs it didn't look an inviting place to stick anything into, hand or otherwise. Even my poking stick was unsuccessful). So I had a hunt around the area, futilely, the GPS leading me all over the place. Eventually I decided to try the original spot one more time, and what do you know. There was the cache, pushed quite a way back. Phew! The walk along the river was lovely too, thanks.

Just as I started looking for this cache, I suddenly realised that I had dropped a TB into a GCA cache - oops!
Found the cache quickly, was going to leave a coin but figured that this cache was GCA too, so TNLN.
Find #22 on my "I'd better go back and grab that TB" Tour.
Thanks for the walk sirius

This was an excellent cruisy walk. Saw a bit of fish action on the way. Got near GZ, GPS bit all over the place and thought to myself, could only be in that spot. Had a look and there it was.
Excellent hide Sirius. TFTC

Found this cache previously as the other half of Boagsratz but now cache as a lone ranger. TFTC! Blind Betty.
Another pleasant stroll along the inglis, our Gps was all the place near GZ, however we followed our noses, and found it 'right where we would have placed it'. Nice hide, thanks for the cache! TNLNSL
