Description

Mr and Mrs Teevee

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a 1964 children's book written by Roald Dahl, with a sequel Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator released in 1972. A third book in the series was never completed. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has been made into 2 movies, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) starring Gene Wilder, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) starring Johnny Depp. They are both favourite films in my household. I'm sure we all know the story about the 5 Golden Tickets and the tour of the factory - as well as the interesting characters and of course the Oompa-Loomps and their quirky songs.

Mr and Mrs Teevee - Struggle with their clever son. In the 2005 film Mr Teevee states half the time he doesn't understand what Mike is taking about. In the 1971 version Mrs Teevee goes with Mike to the factory, while in the 2005 version its Mr Teevee.

This series of caches plays homage to the ultimate fantasy - owning your own Chocolate Factory - and the final reward for this series is just that! There are three sets of six Traditional Caches, each with a clue to the seconds of a Mystery Cache. Find the three Mystery Caches, and you unlock the key to the final Mystery Cache - The Chocolate Factory !

This set contains the following:

Trad - GA10132 - Mike Teevee - with the value of N

Trad - GA10133 - Mr and Mrs Teevee - with the value of P

Trad - GA10134 - Arthur Slugworth - with the value of Q

Trad - GA10135 - The Great Glass Elevator - with the value of R

Trad - GA10136 - 5 Golden Tickets - with the value of S

Trad - GA10137 - Prince Pondicherry - with the value of T

Leading to

Mystery - GA10138 - Oompa-Lumpas at S35 00.NPQ E149 06.RST

The Oompa-Lumpas have a clue leading to Mystery GA10139 The Chocolate Factory.

Enjoy !

TFTC. Gotcha!

After the FTF adventure on Spring Hill this morning at sunrise, I still had some time before I was expected back at home - better not get back too early and wake them Smile. So I did a number of GC and GCA caches along Nanima Road whih I had missed on earlier trips.
Thank you for this big series Fitzy! A great effort. Most of the caches are still in good shape, a few are waterlogged and I will try to mention them here at the end if that is the case.

This one was in the open so covered it again. Might have taken some UV damage.

After a great visit to Shellharbour parkrun volunteering to as marshal I left home rather late with a full packed car for a long weekend of caching. Took matrass, boat and walking/climbing gear so prepared for most situations. Slowly made my way through the highlands to pick up pieces here and there and then a quick run towards Canberra. Most of today's planning however was just outside the ACT but close to the border . Picked up the trails around Murumbateman and then towards Hall. Got pretty warm along the day, I think I saw 38 at some point. Luckily no long walks and all caches found quick, thanks for putting them out there!

I came out here to do a bit more of the chocolate run and to get five GC cahges for my 20 caches a day challenge. Theses all went smoothly despite a small injury on a fence post.

Thanks

Enjoyed this series that kept us on our toes collecting clues and collating them right to the end. Even though a couple were missing we still managed to work out the mysteries.

Many thanks Fitzy_1965for publishing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience.

Out by myself today as Joolay is back at work, so decided to come back and finish this seeries. Unfortunately the first one was missing and I had already done 3,4,5 and 6 but I had lost the the required information so had to do them again. It was good to gather the required information from this cache and apply it to the given formula which enabled me to find the mystery caches. TFTC Fitzy_1965. Great series. SL DancingClapping

Found with Kittykatch and Darzee Di on a SoN GA finding day. Very interesting series and appreciated the effort the CO has gone to. We did do a bit of back and forwarding but eventually worked things out.

KittyKatch and Joolay picked me up to grab this little series for the SoN game. Had 2 DNF's but still worked each puzzle out to get to the final, then we realised we didn't take down the clues in the puzzle containers so drove back and got them. we sat in the shade and worked out the final and it was close by so we were pretty happy about that. An awesome series and puzzles, very different to others but I really enjoyed it. Thanks for putting out and maintaining Fitzy_1965 SmileClapping

It was quite hot along this section of the road as there was no breeze and the flies began to gather again. This resulted inus hurrying across the road to the shade provided by the large tree guarding this cache. Here we found a herd of cattle sitting quietly in the shade on the other side of the fence. They remained seated while we searched keeping watchful eyes on our antics.

We were able to locate the well hidden cache under its thick cover. All was in good order. Log signed, clue obtained and recorded and cache returned to its secure hide we ventured out into the sun and were now at the mercy of the flies. We left the cattle to continue chewing while they enjoyed the shade.

Thanks for another cache in this series Fitzy_1965.

I haven't done many GCA caches, so this trail was an incentive. Started at the highway and followed the trail in order. All caches found OK. Still a little wet on the roadsides, but with care it was OK.

Thanks for the series.

With no rain as per the forecast, I decided to head out this way after checking out a few element caches.
Hence I started this series from the northern end and did have to add a few extra kilometres to complete them all, but a very pleasant drive in the country. I even got to have a chat with Just a Cacher and Black Bunny during my travels, so an added bonus.
Thanks Fitzy_65 for the fun and the cache.

Out today with Just a cacher to grab this series and make the most of a pleasant day. Most caches were a quick park and grab after finding a suitable spot to park and all caches were nice and dry after the rain of yesterday. Bumped into Boot65 while on the series run and had a quick chat before heading our separate ways.

Thanks for the series fitzy_165 ad our vote is for the Gene Wilder version.

Off for another short foray into the world of pain and misery (caching). Weather was much better today, though, and we stopped to eat our lunch at an oval where there was a soccer game going on. Nice to have a floor show.

Thanks for putting these out, FITZY_1965! It was a pleasant drive and fun to find them. We even ran into (not literally) Boot65, whilst we were out and about.

#GA1702 - 15:43; On a beautiful Canberra afternoon, I headed out for my third attempt to complete this series and I'm pleased to say that today, I made it to the end of this interestingly themed series. This was my first stop for the day and a quick find and sign soon had me moving again. TFTC fitzy_1965 Very HappyClan Cerberus
