Tackled the Dooley track today with DEZ055. What an amazing walk. We did this in two stages, starting at Spellmans bridge and walking as far as we could before turning back to the vehicle and driving to the end on River Rd off Swamp rd to continue the track from there to the north. We grabbed some more whilst in the area.
Another quick find while out and about today. TFTC

We needed to find some caches to get us on the board for the October games so we sat down and worked out a plan of caches that we would target.
After finding a few caches on the way to wilmot we ventured down spellmans road to go over to secluded falls lookout cache.
We stopped to grab this one on the way up the hill. There wasn’t much room to pull of the road so we quickly signed the log and moved on. TFTC

While one of the team headed to Devonport to arrange a replacement for a lost key the other headed towards Spellman's to look for this cache. We know the area well but still overshot GZ and had to turn and come back. Parked further up the road and walked back and spotted a tell tale object.
It was a juggling act to reach the hide with GPS, pen and phone (goodness knows why I'd carried this) in hand. Managed to find a relatively flat spot to deposit these items before trying to uncover the cache. While removing the cache from its neat hide the ground under foot started to give way - its was damp and greasy after the light rain. A quick grab of a nearby rock stopped the slide. Trying to quickly open the cache, retrieve, sign and replace the log while balance precariously on a steep slippery slope was slightly heart stopping. Managed to rebag the log, close the container and rehide it while hoping that none of the locals who live nearby and know us well drive by. Made my way carefully down the bank and was halfway back to the car before realising the GPS and phone were still perched above the cache. Back up the bank, retrieve the said items, stuff one up each sleeve and secured them before climbing slowly down.
Looking back it was only a very small, steep bank but deserving of its T2 rating. The taller team member may have been able to reach it from the ground!
Thanks Sirius Tas for this challenging little cache. Cache and contents were in excellent condition. Unfortunately there was a lot of low cloud so the great view was well hidden today. And yes the log was blank giving us a {FTF} at 15:15.
