Still a great walk, although the track down to this cache as very tricky in places
Today we tackled this circuit - took us 2 hours Mr T descended to the falls. Not a lot of water flowing at this time of the year. Cache and contents in good condition.

The views from the track to the creek below were great, manfern gullies and rain forest trees, dead logs with orange and brown fan fungi, rocks with dense layers of moss covering them so that they appeared to be stumps and logs and the ever present black cockatoos and no rubbish. Truly magic section of the track.
When our GPS indicated 36m we found ourselves at the head of the track down to Castra Falls. We could hear the water but not see the falls. The signs warned of the steep, slippery track and the ropes were visible.
Mrs Y'stassie was elected to make the journey down and search for the cache. After a few metres she encountered a very wet, slippery rock. With no way round and being somewhat vertically challenged there was no option but to hold on tightly to the rope and slide down on her well padded behind. Now she was wet as well as very muddy but there was still one cache to find.
She arrived at the end of the rope section without further mishap and made her way towards GZ - still no falls in sight. She looked up at the wrong time a slid on a small clay covered rock. Fortunately no harm was done and she landed close to GZ. Coordinates were spot on and a well hidden container was soon extract. The logbook was again blank so our fourth {FTF} for the day was at 12:15 two hours after our first. Container and contents were in excellent condition.
After replacing the container she walked down to the edge of the water and there were the falls - plenty of water cascading down the rock walls into the pool below. Magic!! Such a beautiful, peaceful spot. After taking some photos it was time for the return journey. On the walk out she saw a vivid red fungi cluster on a nearby myrtle - something new to her. The fungi in this area are spectacular.
She made her way back up the rope section without incident and the 700m walk back to the car began. After about 300m we left the rain forest and found ourselves walking through plantation trees with the usual bracken fern, blackberry and garden escapees, namely holly and cotoneaster. The ground was scattered with fragments of green pine cones courtesy of the black cockatoos.
Just as we reached the car it started to drizzle again. Muddy and a little damp we celebrated a great mornings caching just under 3 hours from the start of our walk.
Thanks Sirius Tas for this cache, the series and another memorable caching journey. GCA cachers should put this one on their must do list.
