Wanted to have a crack at this one as my first GA cache, mainly due to the fact that if I'd found it I could have claimed an FTF just shy of 1,600 days after being published!
Alas, it was not to be. I followed the instructions on the cache page, got a set of co-ords from the flags, and the checker confirmed that my results were correct. Huzzah!
Off into the jungle I happily tromped, found GZ (according to my phone) and started the search. After only a few moments, I discovered what appeared to be a large rock (I suspect it is a termite mound). Searched and searched, moved all the leaf litter down to the dirt, checked under smaller rocks, widened my search - and came up empty handed.
I had a good crack, spent about half an hour searching but I suspect that after four and a bit years, either the container has been muggled, fallen prey to the elements, been consumed by the termite mound or (most likely) I was looking in the wrong place. Sorry Tassie Trekkers, I have failed in the challenge that you set. Maybe someone else with a fresh pair of eyes (or a better phone) can find this one?
