Description
The suburb of Upper Caboolture in the Moreton Bay Shire....a 45 minute drive north of the Brisbane CBD. Established around 1999 and my place of residence in 2002-03 and again in 2006. Still have my home there and one day, who knows, I may end up back here.
The area is certainly devoid of Geocaching Australia caches, so hopefully this one may entice a few cachers out this way, and may even lead to few new Geocaching Australia caches. One can only hope.
The drive out along this road shows off the bigger home lots that are avaiable, and there are a few them.
The cache is a small 200ml sistema placed in a guard rail...with plenty of parking available.
Hope you can come out and grab yourself a smiley.

We were in the area doing some caching along Caboolture River Road and this cache came up on the GPS radar.
I turned around near the church and came back and parked 4m from the cache for a quick find although I had to go through the spiders webs and ant nest to get to it.

Still trying to figure out how this Geocaching Australia System is working, we also found this one by inserting the coords of this cache as a waypoint in the Geocaching.com list. It worked.

This one took us out of the city a bit which is our preferred place to cache. It was a quick find on a surprisingly busy road.
We were the third Tassie finders in a row on this one too.
Thanks.

#GA3477 - 15:10; Arrived in Brisbane this morning with the CO for day 1 of a long planned mission to cache South East Queensland. After collecting the hire geomobile, we headed up to Mount Gravatt for our first stop and to grab a couple of snaps of the local trig. It was then on to Redlands to try our hand at the Australiana series, then on to Caboolture. Picked this one up while in the area just as the rain was starting. TFTC Sol de lune

Out with Nyssaflutterby on a quick weekday morning cache trip. I thought I knew where this one would be and I was right, NF parked so close that I found the cache and handed it to her before she even got out of the car. Thanks for the cache Sol De Lune, nice to have some GCA ones in the local area.
Out and about with wombles to create some new smileys in this neck of the woods.
Last night I had a look on google maps and knew exactly where this one would be.
Sure enough, today wombles had the container in hand before I could even get out of the car.

Figured it was time to get out and find some caches after the last of my uni assignments was submitted. This one is the currently the closest GA cache to me, so it was a must do today. Took me a little while to find the clever hide. TFTC.

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
currently in Woodford as Mr Felix had some work at the Woodford Festival. With that time now over its time to get back with reality and out and about caching and shopping so a trip to the big smoke - Caboolture. Really enjoyed this area and of course pleased to claim a FTF here.
Cache still in good order.
