While heading to our hotel we stopped for one more cache, there is always one more! Mr T, goose and Mr W headed off into the bushes together while the ladies watched. Mrs W said that's not 1.5 terrain and stayed put! Cache was located, luckily as I wasn't about to join the search. TFTC

I walked the PCT series without any external injury but came away from this one bleeding in two places. On the way to our accommodation we stopped here to look for this cache. The male members of the three teams (gooseandegg, Tassie Trekkers and whitewebbs) scrambled and bush bashed up to this one. The ladies stood at the cars and just watched! Thanks sirius Tas.

In Burnie for an appointment so decided to grab a few caches on the way home. Unable to tackle Wivenhoe Rail Bridge due to muggles working at GZ so headed to this one. Once we parked the car we made the short walk to GZ where the cache container was quickly found. Mr Beetle did leave evidence of our visit on the nearby rock - quite a lot of blood from scratching the top off an old wound during the short bush bash section of the walk.
Also picked up quite a lot of yellow blossom on our clothing which had to be removed before we stopped to do the shopping in Ulverstone on the way home.
Surprised at how many passing motorists seemed to notice us up there!
Thanks.

We had planned our weekend caching to include finding caches in the north east that had been on our to do list for a while, topping up our caches found on the 1st and 2nd of the month for one of the GCA challenges, getting our Christmas in July going and meeting the requirement for the GC Canada souvenir.
Day dawned clear and cold but promising to be sunny later so off we headed. While in the north east we were alerted to the publication of five new GA caches close by home. We decided to finish collecting the target caches before heading home.
After a visit to daughter we finally got home where we checked out the new additions and decided we probably only had time to look for two so selected those that would meet requirements for the Christmas in July game and the GCA challenge. This was the first one.
The light was starting to fade as we approached the parking spot but we were soon able to work out where the cache was. It didn't take us too long to reach the vicinity of GZ - we hadn't noticed how far above the highway we were - great views across the bay at sunset.
Being careful to stay on the land side of the POR we were delighted to find the well hidden, good sized container and were surprised to find a blank log giving us a {FTF} at 16:40. All was well with the cache and contents. We reassembled the hide then it was off to Heybridge.
Thanks Sirius Tas for a new cache that met our needs for the July game. We marvel at your ability to find such great hiding spots and hope this cache will get many more finders.
