Description

This is a recreational Park with walking paths, children’s play area & picnic tables.

It’s a nice place to visit & have a picnic by the lake.

Bird watchers should be happy with the different types of birds that come & visit the Werrington creek & its lake.

There are many bike / walking paths around the lake & surrounding sports ovals.

Also, many a picnic table to be found.

This cache is big enough for small swaps. I have included some small trading items to start it off.

The container is a little different, just hold the top & unscrew the bottom or vice versa.

A pair of gloves will help when looking, always be aware of snakes & spiders in the bush and have fun.

Please when returning the cache, hid it from muggles with the surrounding twigs / leaves.

LuckyL10n and I were heading home after a couple of days caching in the Blue Mountains and decided to try this one. Alas, the cache was too good for us. Had what we thought was a good look, however re-reading the listing we may missed something and did not looked hard enough. Sometimes you have days like that....

Thanks anyway HansJJ….will be back one day I'm sure.

I had a couple of hours to fill before I had to pick up MrT so thought I would head to Werrington Lake to do some birdwatching. While walking around the lake I thought I would look for this cache as there weren't any muggles nearby. A quick find. Signed log and returned as found. cache in good condition. TFTC

I thought to take advantage of a cooler day to come down from Lithgow to this lovely little park.
No problem finding the cache, it was just sitting there quite exposed, signed log and replaced with camo to make it a bit more hidden.
Thanks for the cache.
