Description
Another cache to add to the Davies Avenue fun!
Today on the 7th of the 7th, 17, Ringo turns 77. Worthy of a caching celebration. It can be found just off to the left of the track. It's a percussion instrument hanging from a small, dead tree...about head height. This was my first Waypoint Averaging, so any comments about the coordinates would be appreciated. But please be polite, okay?

Parked & did the walk – gee I can see the kids in this area had a great time during lockdown – I’m glad I wasn’t a kid locked down in the western suburbs of Sydney that didn’t have this within 5 km of home – to me this is the bull shit of this covid shit – enough of this shit – GPS bouncing around – took a deep breath & I like this type of location as I don’t need to worry about muggles – read hint – chucked GPS in bin & found cache – what a hide – loved it – many thanks for this - TFTC / TFTH / SL

Parked at the end of the bitumen then walked. There was a van parked in the turning circle... are they camping there tonight...?
Walked past GZ then turned around and the cache was right in front of me. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

Came for the afternoon to find caches put out for the last 2 or 3 games plus some that I haven't previously found, though there was a cache that I had found in 2015 but forgot to log. In the end found 8 GA with 4 DNF more than likely cache blindness and 3 GC caches. These 11 caches were found in Regentville, Springwood and Faulkenbridge
After finding 2 GC caches in Regentville I then drove up to Springwood where the first cache I looked for I didn't find my GPSr was telling me I needed to be on the road but with all the cars going passed I wasn't going there. Unlike the previous finders nothing jumped out.
This was my fifth cache in Springwood area today. After finding Blue in the Mountains walked along this track and found the appropriate trees and found the one with the cache.
Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache alnic39
On this day Sun, May 6th, 1962 The Beatles perform at the Star-Club, Hamburg, West Germany.
I had a choice of a few other things on the 6/5 but none of the others were a Sunday

#GA2498 - 18:15; Day one of a caching mission in the Blue Mountains with Sol de lune. After an early start in Canberra, we collected a few of the newer caches along the highway before we reached the foot of the mountains and started the major part of the mission, to collect GCA caches to help us meet some dragonZone trophy requirements. We had enjoyed a great start having picked up a few caches already, including the 10K series, as we were now headed around in the hills. After a bit of urban caching in Springwood, it was time to head bush again for a few more down in the Dell. After emerging from the Dell, we picked up a few more as we made our way slowly towards Katoomba. After a couple of other finds in the area, we decided to make this one the last for the day. It turned out to be a real hum dinger! No Beatles or beetles here today, but a nice way to wrap things up. TFTC alnic39

Up from Canberra with LuckyL10n for a 2 day run around the Blue Mountains.
Last cache for the day, and one that rang a few bells for me, as the find would take me up to another dragonZone level. Its been a long way (and time) and to get this to point, and to the get the last remaining points on a cache that represents something about The Beatles, well, that is something.
Thanks alnic....I'm sure there will be a few more tomorrow.

A nice walk in from Springwood station in a well know part of the world.
An easy find even if it could not be heard!
Thanks for a neat cache.
