Out on a rainy day with Outdoornut22 I suppose what better do we have to do. he defiantly did the puzzle solving for us on this one. And I loved where we found ourselves. never been to this issue of Richmond before and I suppose that's what this game is all about! so thanks for the find.

Out in the rain today with Sophoutloud and had about the unluckiest caching day we have had in a long time with only a 50% success rate it almost wasn't worth getting drenched for a good puzzle to stretch my brain on a Sunday. once onsite we quickly had the cache in hand, it is still in good condition. This is a nice area of North Richmond I have never been out to this park before so it is good to find some new spots. cheers

It is about time we went out and grabbed these mysteries - thankfully GA now saved corrected coordinates as we had solved both puzzles in this park when they first came out...so when we passed this morning with the team, it was just a matter of checking the listing and grabbing the updated coords. At GZ had to wait a small group of boys kicking a soccer ball along the path whilst cricket in the nearby field was being also being played. With the coast clear we checked several spots before making the find. With the cache in hand we all signed the log then replaced as found. Both cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache lucky1955.

I had worked out the coords earlier in the year but the first time I came here it was a sports day and there were muggles everywhere. The next tine it started pouring as I arrived so another miss. Today I was catching up with the CO. I had looked but came up short. Thankfully the CO arrived and he was able to point me in the right direction. TFTC

#GA2279 - 12:35; When the States of the Nation game began, a plan was hatched for a group of ACT cachers to take a trip north to the Hawkesbury on a scavenger raid. As time passed the group's numbers dwindled, but with a bit of work solving puzzles and a few things rescheduled, our merry band comprising andrewbt, Sol de lune and I set off on a damp Canberra morning to try our hand. A recent visit to Canberra by cachers from this area provided an added incentive, so we could repay the karma points we gained from their visit. A successful day it turned out to be with 56 finds and only three DNFs. Happy to find this sneaky little sucker on the mission today as we were down on all fours for the search. TFTC lucky1955

Next stop on our tour around the area and we parked nearby and took the walk to GZ. A bit or crawling around but the little blitter was spotted and all was good. Log was signed, cache replaced and we continued on towards our next goal.
Thanks for another one Lucky1955.....

Solved this one not long after it came out but when I went to the park previously I hadn't keyed the details into my GPSr. This morning at the last minute I decided I was nearby so solved for GZ again as I still didn't have it keyed into the GPSr. Now it is in there followed the course it set to GZ. Worked out where I was going to be looking. I was tossing up quitting early as the grass I had to kneel on was a mixture with dew & frost, cold & wet. Checked a number of places but no luck then thought one of them wasn't like the rest. Checked that one & had the cache in hand. Now the hardest part with cold fingers from putting my hands on the cold grass it ended up taking longer to extract the log. In the end signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache lucky1955
