Description
On the road from Woodford past the showgrounds.
You are seeking a black micro bison tube. There is safe parking off road and you will only have a short walk back to GZ. Please be mindful of traffic on this road as it can be busy at times. GZ is past the showgrounds and before the Woodford Correctional Centre. This cache is not at ground level and the vertically challenged may have difficuly with retrieving the bison. There is a small drainage ditch to scramble over.

#GA5159 - 14:40; Day seven of a road trip with Sol de lune as we head north for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega. After a second night in Esk, we packed up and headed off on our final leg to the Mega. High on the agenda for today was awaiting advice on the Brisbane lockdown and whether or not the Mega would actually go ahead, or whether we would be turning around and heading home early. While we waited, we set out to log the "65 Roses" geoart series in and around Kilcoy. The good news on the lockdown came and we stopped off today to add my name to the log for this cache. On my last visitthe rain was very heavy and the drain at GZ near full. It was raining again today, but not enough to prevent the find. TFTC youngoldfella

It was another wet day in a week of wet days, not great for cache hunting but since when did that stop anyone. We were passing through Woodford so this wasn't far out of the way. What a lovely little town Woodford is, well worth a cache. Checked out the showground for future camping reference as well. TFTC youngoldfella.

On a road trip with Crew153 (who sees these GCA caches when we go out, I'm usually blind to them). Our goal was to clear a few of the caches around the area since we last cached around here 6 years ago. We had an awesome day, very successful. Crew153 drove his trusty GeoFalcon to a (sort of) safe place to park just past GZ, and we hoofed it back for a quick find. All good here.
Thanks for entertaining me here, Youngoldfella.

Pprime and I were in the area doing a day of caching and this cache popped up on the radar so we headed to it. I was driving and pukked up about 20m past the cache and we walked pack. Pprime made a quick find.

Our only GCA cache attempted today.
An easy find and it was actually spotted as I walked towards GZ.
Second Tassie finder in a row too.
Think we're heading towards GCA wilderness.
Thanks.

Out for a drive with Nyssaflutterby.
We looked high and low for this one and then noticed the sign looked new and had a January date on it. One of the sign brackets was on the ground so I looked around a bit in case the cache had fallen out when the sign was removed but no luck. Nyssa had a spare cache in the car so she replaced it.
Thanks youngoldfella for placing a GCA cache out this way!

Out with wombles for a scenic drive and a few caches. We were happy to find a GA cache in Woodford as we had previously cached out this area.
Arriving at GZ it was obvious where we had to be hunting but unfortunately there was no beasty to be found
Looks like the sign has been replaced since the last finders in December last year. It was lucky though as I just so happened to have a spare bison in my bag of tricks.
Wombles and I signed the new log and then I replaced the cache back high. I have let the CO know about the cache replacement and he is happy for me to log this cache.
Thanks for the smiley youngoldfella

In the old stomping ground of Caboolture for a couple of days and head out to Woodford for this one. Managed to park off the road ok and then after a short search the cache was in hand. Signed the log, replaced the cache and headed over towards Bribe Island for hopefully another quick find....
Thanks YOF.....good to grab this one.

Well in Woodford to help out with the installation of the Festival. Our work now completed and it was time to have some fun out caching. this one proved tougher than first thought and a DNF in the high humidity. back to camp and a phone call to the CO. Umm not real sure but no its not off in the bush it should be about here. HMMmm
Well a revisit this arvo and still no luck, checked absolutely everywhere else then back to the obvious spot and damn it there was the cache under our feet!
