Description
In the series of Trains In The Shire: Heathcote.
Heathcote station opened on 9 March 1886 as Loftus station when the Illawarra line was extended from Sutherland to Waterfall. Upgrades to the station, which will include a new footbridge with lifts, were completed in 2016.
There are three bridges: The old one to get over the rails, one over the road to get to the station and a new one over the rails. When walking over the two new ones, have a look at totally different architectures: One is made by the RTA, the other one is made by TfNSW.

Found It!
A quick find here but then while I was signing the log, a couple of people walked over and sat down only a few meters from GZ. After about 10mins of waiting, they finally left and I got to return the cache!

It was a busy day around the cache on Sunday. The SES and RFS were busy nearby so there were many people wandering around. I thought I wouldn't be able to search for the cache. Amazingly everyone disappeared quickly and it was just a stroll up and find job. Sweet. Signed log and headed off to Karloo Pool for a swim.

I have a reason to start doing some local GA caches.
Given that my GC goal is to lift the D/T rating to 1.9/1.9 for my 8,000th find (I am on 6,400 @ 1.82/1.79 now) and that we are doing the York Peninsular power trail in March (over 400 in a day mostly 1.5/1.5 and nearly 1,000 all up), I am trying to avoid doing any GC caches under a 3/3.
With this handicap and the Journey or Destination game drawing to a close, it is time to spread my wings and keep caching by doing GA caches and at the same time try to get myself into a position where I will win a PathTag.
Thanks for providing caches.

Whilst in Heathcote I thought I’d grab another in the TITS series as it was reasonably quite around the station. All in good order.
On a caching run with phlphotos, alnic39 and JJCC. Heading up towards TITS #6 - KEE (Kirrawee) with the crew, we stopped off at a few others in the TITS series that the others had already found. This one proved more difficult than it should of been as we dropped it on extraction...thus required a tool from car so that we could grab it and bring it back to the top to sign. Thanks for the cache Team MavEtJu.

On the way to Wollonong today decided to go via some of the train stations got to Como, Jannali, too busy at Sutherland, found Loftus, missed Engadine found Heathcote, I was running late to where I needed to be so didn’t stop at Waterfall. On the way back home had to drop my friend at Caringbah so finished the day finding Caringbah
Heathcote took me too long to find this cache the hint that I wrote down in the space I left for myself made no sense with what was in front of me. What with an SES truck being prepared in the driveway before heading off and SES people turning up and walkers crossing the bridge to get newspapers then coming back. This took way longer than it should have done. In the end tried one more spot and there it was
Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Team MavEtJu

Second to last day of the Sol de Lune / LuckyL10n NSW adventure. After attending the Morisset Mega, heading up to and back from Tweed Heads, we were now on the final leg. Have always liked trains and have enjoyed a couple of previous trips to the Shire for caching, so this series was a gimme.
Had to take a bit of walk for this one because, of course, we were on the wrong of the tracks. Once at GZ though the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks TMEJ....another one crossed off the list.

#GA2762 - 08:15; Day seven of the 2018 Oz GeoMuster mission with Sol de lune and after a night in Sydney we were heading closer to home as we cached south through to Wollongong and Shellharbour before heading up Macquarie Pass to the highway home. This was the next stop for the morning and added a third find in this series for both of us. Must try and get back here for a few more sometime. TFTC Team MavEtJu

While waiting for the train to Waterfall, I had plenty of time to look for this in a muggle free zone. Nicely placed.
Found this one with phlphotos and the geokids at the end of a great day of caching and enjoying the beach at Austi. I was very surprised to find that the log was clear. FTF for Alnic.
