Description
Just over the border and heading south.....
After crossing the border and visiting the bust of one Robert James Lee Hawke once in Bordertown, Sol de lune and I decided that there was a distinct lack of Geocaching Australia caches in this neck of the woods, so we had better rectify the situation.
This cache is located along the Naracoorte Road to the south of town. There is adequate parking to the side of the road close to GZ.
(Sol de lune was with me when I placed this cache and will log a find once the first to find has been claimed).

Found as we stopped overnight here on our way home from Adelaide.
Muggle Hubby only got a tiny bit damp as he leapt out to get it and replace it after I’d signed the log.
Thanks for placing it here to add another one to our found list

We began to wind our way back to Melbourne today after almost 4 weeks with family in Adelaide. We had several goals for today. One was to collect the 2 GCA caches near Bordertown.
By midday we were here. Spot on coordinates and a familiar hide meant we had no trouble locating the cache container. The local guardian spiders had done their best to weld the container into its hiding spot. We removed the troublesome webs with the help of a walking pole. We soon had the log signed and the container returned to its hide. All was in good order.
Thanks for this cache LuckyL10n. The surrounding grasslands were very green today and it was nice to see the old river gums with their feet in water.

Now with the first to find claimed, it's time to claim a find for myself. I was with the CO when the cache was placed. The plan was to encourage more GCA finds, but you can't do that without GCA hides. Hopefully the caches we placed in the local (and not so local) area's will do this.
If you're travelling through the area...make sure you take the time to stop and grab this one.
Thanks LuckyL10n....we'll get more GCA caches out there.....even if we need to hit SA a bit more....
