Passing thru Swan Valley, stopped here to try this one again; this time with my eyes wider. Great camo!

This coordinates are still accurate to within 2 - 3 metres. The hint is still accurate but just to please everybody i will amend it slightly.

I had a magellan and a garmin gps as well as the gps staus app on my phone. Both gps devices put the accuracy at 3m and the gps status app at 2m from where i was standing. I was standing 2m from the cache.

So that is that.

Request re-check & update of coordinates, or better hint.

Unless you are using a DGPS or other high accuracy survey device quoting accuracy is highly misleading as it just the device manufacturer trying to make the owner of the device feel good about their device and means nothing in real life without any reference to some known real coordinates.

However as you have quoted it our two GPS's units had an accuracy of around 3m also and both said that the coordinates were about 8m out.

Wouldn't normally matter except for the type of hide it is meaning there can be no meaningful hint to help narrow the search area to only a few spots instead of the hundreds that it could have been at the GZ we had.

the coordinates have been checked twice and by another cacher and found to be accurate to 3m.

Had nearly as much trouble going down the track to this cache from the trig but got there in the end.

Searched for ages before finding the cache.

Out with the better half. We thought that it would be easier going down the hill but it turned out to be just as bad as were were slipping on the gravel.

Spend ages trying to find this cache mainly because the coordinates are quite out. Was obvious once we expanded our search area.

Revisited with the CO this morning, turns out I was way off base with some out coords from the original post. After that correction and a small hint from the CO ... success!! A very, very sneaky hide. Enjoy this one and the views!

Boo... after a DNF nearby, thought I might have a bit more luck here, but alas. GPS and phone were jumping around (wind and rain), but think I found what the clue was pertaining to, but no luck with the cache.
Too tricky for me Dezzabills, but thanks for the scenery!

good to go enjoy the cache... Clan Minotaur
