Description

Cache is not located at the above coordinates.

Somewhere in Australia you will always find some wildlife..we have an abundance of birds, insects, marsupials and reptiles. I have placed this cache close by to where you will see koalas and can have an afternoon bbq with the wallabies...all for free!!! The Daisy Hill Koala centre is located off Daisy Hill Rd in Daisy Hill QLD

Daisy Hill Koala Centre
Built by the Queensland Government as a dedicated koala education facility, the Daisy Hill Koala Centre was opened to the public in 1995. Extensively refurbished in 2009, it features a large outdoor koala enclosure and many interactive displays.
Admission is free.
Open daily from 9am to 4pm (except Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday).
Walkways are suitable for wheelchairs.
Located 25km south of Brisbane in the Daisy Hill Regional Park.

The Daisy Hill Regional Park comprises 435 hectares of open eucalypt forest. It has long been a popular bushland retreat for people, and is home to many native animals including koalas.

Having found all the GA caches closest to home I decided to cross the river and try my luck on the darkside Razz
Muggles a plenty here today! I was lucky to get a car park.
I made my way to GZ and found the beasty without a hassle. A little surprise for me on opening was the White tailed spider cache guardian :O I made sure to tip him out away from the cache. Hopefully it doesn't come back.
After leaving my scribble I placed everything back as had been found.

Thanks for the cache SambuccaSam Very Happy

Day 5 of a 5 day trip around south east Queensland with LuckyL10n and after a good few days of caching we had a few hours to grab a few more before out flight home.

Took the walk down from the car park and headed bush at the appropriate spot. Cache was found ok, but was way too far in for us to reach, so we found something to help out and after a bit of push and shove, the cache was within reach. Log was signed, cache replaced and it was back up the small hill to the car park.

Thanks again Sambuccasam....cache is all good and waiting for the next finder. Also grabbed a couple more co-ords, which will no doubt be handy in about 20 minutes or so. WhistleWhistle

#GA3611 - 14:05; Day 5 of the tour de South East Queensland with Sol de lune as we wrap up our caching and get ready to head for home tonight. An early morning change of plans saw us head south through the picturesque countryside from Beaudesert to Woodenbong which enabled us to claim a find in Kyogle dragonzone, before heading back to Logan to continue our mission there. Found a trig before heading off to grab Queensland's oldest active GC cache, then on to pick up a few more in various of the CO's series. Found a convenient park and headed off to GZ where the cache was soon spotted. Had to adapt a ToTT for the extraction as the cache had crept well into its hidey hole. Extraction completed, the log was signed and cache replaced for the next finder. TFTC Sambuccasam Very HappyClan Cerberus

I thought it was about time that I started on this series of caches. I had picked out this one to start with as I need it to find the coordinates for a couple of other caches. The puzzle was simple to solve.

I always enjoy my strolls in this area. The car park was almost full at 4pm. There must be a lot of trailbikers out there somewhere. I headed down the trail and soon found the cache in a convenient spot.

TFTC Sam. Glad to get a *FTF* on this one.
