Description
Carisbrook is a town in Victoria, Australia, located on the Pyrenees Highway, 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) east of the regional and local government centre of Maryborough, in the Shire of Central Goldfields. At the 2006 census, Carisbrook had a population of 713. Carisbrook is closely linked with Maryborough historically, socially and economically. (Thanks to wiki for that info.)
Another area in Victoria that is a little devoid of Geocaching Australia caches, so while driving through the area on the way home, the decesion was made to place a couple of caches for others to find, and to also offer te driver a chance to get of the road for a few minutes.
This is another cache placed on the trip that wont win and cache awards, but it's not meant to. It's a reason for the driver to stop and and for cachers to grab a smiley in an area.
I hope you can stop and do just that.....

I have headed off for a day and a half or so planning to cache from Maldon, over to Red Bank then wending my way towards Cressick. i will hopefully be tidying up a few stragglers on my map, exploring more GCA caches and visiting at least a couple of new areas.
Passing through with geovan in tow we stopped to find your cache. Cache and contents in good condition.

Blue - Cerberus or Orange - Minotaur. Earn trophies and rise through the ranks from Dragon Fodder to Ruler of the Universe. After getting a close by GCA FTF, I decided to go the extra miles for another grab. After a quick stop I was onto GZ in no time. **sorry for the late logging.

An hour and a half later we had our FTF and were not far from this cache. As our fuel levels were low we had to head to Creswick, twenty kms away to refuel before heading to Maryborough and Carisbrook. The rain had eased and we were enjoying our trip through this part of the country. Again we found ourselves on the opposite side of the road to GZ so had to make the dash across the road to retrieve the cache.
Again we were delighted to find the FTF slot vacant so will claim a FTF at 14:39. The çontainer and contents were in good conďition.
