We found this very intriguing cache but the winter rains had been very unkind to it. We have notified the CO to see if they would like us to repair it.

Many thanks for a great, fun cache Tassie Trekkers Clapping

We were not far from this cache today as we made our way down the Gone Fishn' series on the Yorke Peninsula. As the COs are Tasmanian of course we had to make a detour to look for it.

The area is very dry so we had no trouble negotiating the road in in our street car. It would have been a very different proposition if it had been wet.

Once we aere in the vicinity of the hide it took us a little while to spot the container, it blends into its surroundings very well.

We took a few minutes to examine the gadget bit and work out the best strategy. The container was extracted and the log signed without too much frustration. Container and contents were in excellent condition. Everything was put back as found.

Thanks Tassie Trekkers for a great gadget cache we really enjoyed solving this one. It is always a pleasure to find really well thoughtout and constructed caches and hope this one gets many visits in the future.

It didn't take too long to work out where the log sheet was, and where it was going to emerge from. Getting our hands on the log sheet took a bit of fiddling about, but we soon had our name added to it. The rain had started to come down a bit harder while we were here, but the cache should stay nice and dry inside it's big outer container.

Thanks Tassie Trekkers.
