We are sick of being locked in the house so we saw this one was within a short distance of home and one that i had been hoping to get for a while but was a bit worried that the batteries would be dead. Unfortunately they were but with some old school detective work and a good search in all the nearby cracks we managed to find the key. Looks like the buzzer may have got a bit damp inside or at the very least has flat batteries. Such a great idea just needs a bit of an update. Thanks for this one

Set out to get some of the GA's in the area, with much help from the CO's. Is that a surprise to anyone?!

#GA2343 - 13:20; Day two of the Macquarie mayhem cache hunt with Sol de lune and andrewbt. After a big day one with 56 out 59 finds, we were optimistic about another successful day two. A few cold ones, a few logs and a few more claims for the States of the Nation game set the scene for a good night's sleep and a spring in our step as we packed up and hit the trail again today. Hope the CO's are enjoying all the Karma points rolling in as we get through our logs Whistle. After bombing out on the nearby gadget cache, we headed over to this one. Found what we needed then after heading the wrong way, made amends and soon had the cache in hand and another cache type off the 'to do' list. TFTC phlphotos Very HappyClan Cerberus

Headed up this way for the gadget caches and although we struck out on one, this one was a different story. Found what was required to find the cache and set about the search. Took a couple of minutes as we went the wrong way at first, but all was good and we were soon listening to the sweet sound of success. From there it just a matter of signing the log and then replacing as found...

Great set up Phlphotos....thanks for the fun. Recommended.

I hit up this part of the world today specifically to target this new cache type and here I wasn't disappointed! After the sadness of only getting three quarters through the other gadget cache nearby, this one put an extra smile on my face. Batteries still good and every part was well executed. The second time I've seen this kind of hide but definitely the superior! Cheers for my first gadget cache!

Headed out on this hot windy day to track down some of these new gadget caches. As I approached GZ I could see this would be fun. Plenty of possibilities for hiding a nicely camo'd container. Took the tool and followed my instincts. No one answered my knock, so I helped myself to the key under the mat and let myself in. Signed the log and snuck back outside leaving everything as it was.
Perfect spot for this gadget cache. Niche job phlphotos!

Joint FTF @11.17am with Team Merlin and Lucky1955

Out for a cache run full of hopeful new cache type.
Parking the car nearby and then a nice walk to GZ. When within metres of GZ it was down to hand to hand combat looking for that cache. Once locating it the next stage began with a little more searching we located the final location. Once all parts found we were able to open and all signed the log, we replaced everything as found.

Great new cache type TFTC phlphotos.

the second FTF of the morning in company with TeamMerlin and Splitty Miller JJCC.

After a search at GZ found the cache container it was time to find part two for the access to the inner container. When nothing was heard with the first press another location was spied to try this time the buzzer could be heard. Not long after a key was triumphantly held aloft. Back to the main container and access to the log was gained. The three of us left our mark before replacing all as found. tftgc

Joint FTF @11.17am with Splitty Miller JJCC and lucky1955

Noticing several new caches in the area, we hatched a plan for a morning cache run. Parking the car up near the main road, we walked in and worked our way towards GZ. On hands and knees we located the first part of the cache, but not before checking all of the other entry points at GZ. With everyone being quite our initiall press of the button didn't reveal anything. Then moving over to another likely hide location, another press and the bell tolled for the hide location of part two. With the key in hand we headed back to part one and gained access to the log. After we all signed the log, we replaced everything as found.

Well done on a clever gadget cache phlphotos.
