Out with Nibletricecakes for a daily gc plus a few gcas. Looking for shots in the Battleship game and this trail of caches fits the bill perfectly. All containers were found quickly. Many spiders were disrupted. TFTC minniek.

Teamed up with GLISS! to tackle a few on this trail. I still need to find all the mines in this blasted battleship game!!

On my trip out today I stopped past this Mt Stromlo cache, just a quick stop today.

Day 13 Mainland trip
Still camped on site after attending the Clear Waters Mega which was a great event. Thanks to all the organising Committee and volunteers we had a fantastic time. Today out hunting caches with Tassie Trekkers and this was one we found. TFTC

We traveled out this way today to visit an area we had been to before and loved the drive and the caches TFTC

Found with the geokids on a trig run around western Canberra. Nice and easy.

Another great day out caching with Joolay after more points in the current game. Thanks to Minniek for the trail up Mt Stromlo, this being another one of them and SDL for all his scattered around the area. We continued on and found a few trigs then topped the day off with a stash of movables. All logs were signed and cache returned to their hidey holes.

Dropped Wilma at school and thought I'd do some caches on the way home. One thing led to another and I was on a roll to collect the GCA caches of the Alpha/phonetic alphabet series. Very happy to have these unfound piles of caches turned into smiles. TFTC minniek.

A bit of an unscheduled (well, I wanted to, but plans made this a definite) caching run. Decided to clear out the GCA caches around stromlo.

Found 7:00pm with girlfriend. Out in the Stromlo area to find some caches. A quick easy find. It is annoying though to have to wait for muggles.

As we got out of the car we noticed a lot of scratching and bobbing around under the wattle trees just below us. At first we thought it was a small flock of bush turkeys, the type we've seen in Brisbane. But no! On closer inspection we decided they were either ravens or jays. They were black with white markings on wings and tails. They were having a lovely time scattering the leaf litter as they searched for lunch.

We were enjoying watching the birds and almost forgot that we had stopped to look for a cache. Fortunately we were not in a hurry and the rain had not started again so we walked slowly to the hiding spot and grabbed the cache. Again the container and contents were dry and in good condition. Another one done and dusted.

Thanks for this cache Minniek. The antics of the birds made us smile.

GCA 1738. A lunchtime run for another crossed off in this series.

Can't believe there were people jogging up the hill today ? Ouch...

#GA2021 - 13:15; It seems I stay further away from the summit on each visit now as I work my way through this series. Discovered something else in the first place I checked as this one turned out to be a slight variation on the hides I have come to expect in this series. Crossed the road and all was good, with the cache located and log signed in short order. TFTC minniek

Quick find at dusk. Joint *FTF* with Black Bunny.

Grabbed Just a cacher and headed off for the hunt on the mountain where we had a quick park and grab for the find tonight as the astronomers headed up for a nights viewing.
