#GA3504 - 10:30; Day 2 of the South East Queensland tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Nanango late yesterday after getting belted by a storm later in the afternoon/early evening. Much to our relief the heavy rain seems to be moving on and it is only overcast and occasional light drizzle this morning. Spending today caching around Nanango and Kingaroy and hoping to clear a swag of GCA puzzles from the 'solved but unfound' list we have been compiling for the past couple of years. We were now underway and enjoying a variety of cache types and hides, some taking longer than other to make the find amongst the long grasses and having to make the right choice from the variety of possibilities available. It was great to pick up another gadget here today. Had the right gear with us to enjoy success, but should have stepped back quicker after we had retrieved the log A fun cache this one. 2nd day of a 5 day trip around south-east Queensland with LuckyL10n and today we were in Nanango to grab a few more of the local offerings. All up my 3rd trip to this area, but there are few cachers to grab. We encountered wild weather in Brisbane yesterday, however today started with very little rain and no wind...thankfully.

Good fun cache. Have enjoyed the mixture of these Gadget caches since they were introduced and this style seem very popular. You never know where the contents will go once you start. Once in the hand the log was signed, cache replaced and we were then off to the next one.

After finding the other gadget cache nearby we then made our way to this one. We read the Description and came prepared with enough water. It all worked very well and we soon had it in our hands. All nice and dry here.

We love gadget caches. We had the necessary requirements with us to carry out our duties to locate the cache. That done, log signed the cache was replaced as found. Great gadget cache. TFTC for this cache.

Well another GCA hide in Nanango. I parked in the gravel pit and took a short stroll through the light scrub. Been in this area a few times before and only just recently thanks to the Winter Game. There is a GC hide not that far away a little further to the west close to the fence. there is a quick easy way in where you do not hve mnuch bush to contend with or follow your GPSr and bush bash.
