Phonetic Alphabet - Kilo
A nice simple series of caches to help boost your numbers (and mine!!). Scattered around Canberra in groups you may choose to grab them all at once - which will help you towards a number of dragonZone Trophies based on finds per day of the week/month - or maybe do them one a day which will help your dragonZone streak ! Either way have fun and BYO Pen !
The 26 code words in the NATO phonetic alphabet are assigned to the 26 letters of the English alphabet in alphabetical order so that critical combinations of letters and numbers can be pronounced and understood by those who exchange voice messages by radio or telephone regardless of language barriers or the quality of the communication channel. In other words so that messages can be understod without the similarities of the sounds in letters such as b c d e g p t v being responsible for misunderstandings.

Out with Nibletricecakes for a daily gc plus a few gcas. Looking for shots in the Battleship game and this trail of caches fits the bill perfectly. All containers were found quickly. Many spiders were disrupted. TFTC minniek.
Teamed up with GLISS! to tackle a few on this trail. I still need to find all the mines in this blasted battleship game!!
While I was out on my morning caching exercise walk, I stopped by for a few GAs as well.

Day 13 Mainland trip
Still camped on site after attending the Clear Waters Mega which was a great event. Thanks to all the organising Committee and volunteers we had a fantastic time. Today out hunting caches with Tassie Trekkers and this was one we found. TFTC

Found with the geokids on a trig run around western Canberra. Nice and easy, which makes for more fun when you are pressed for time.

This was a fun series because the hides were much the same...and the metal was not too hot yet!
Easier find as no spiders or bugs guarding the cache this time. Still plenty of traffic at 7am though. TFTC

Another great day out caching with Joolay after more points in the current game. Thanks to Minniek for the trail up Mt S 
tromlo, this being one of them and SDL for all his scattered around the area. We continued on and found a few trigs then topped the day off with a stash of movables. All logs were signed and cache returned to their hidey holes.

More straightforward finds on today's goal of achieving 200 GCA finds. My only difficulty was my fat fingers retrieving the log from these small caches. The passing traffic was also heavy, fast and close. TFTC
Dropped Wilma at school and thought I'd do some caches on the way home. One thing led to another and I was on a roll to collect the GCA caches of the Alpha/phonetic alphabet series. Very happy to have these unfound piles of caches turned into smiles. TFTC minniek.

Found on a NYE caching run around this area of town. After pulling up at the side of the road in a safe place nearby, I dashed to the GZs of these phonetic alphabet caches for a very quick and expected find - just had to dodge cars in the process! TFTC minniek!

It was raining heavily when we stopped to look for this cache. Our GPS kept indicating that we should search on the other side of the road. After coming up cacheless we headed to the other side of the road and soon had the container in hand. Container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this cache Minniek. We look forward to seeing how the addition of these finds to our dragon zone finds will affect our trophy collection. We do hope to collect our Shooting for the Stars trophy soon. We only have 25 more difficulty points to collect.

#GA2112 - 13:35; With another dZ challenge nearing completion, it was time to clear the remaining caches in this series in pursuit of that challenge. Besides that, I think I am wearing out the road to this area through my frequent recent visits. After a visit nearby a couple of days ago, this one was an easy find and sign today. TFTC minniek
