Description
Gareth the GeoGnome
My first moveable. I've enjoyed finding lots of gnomes lately so, when I saw this little guy at the shops, I couldn't resist taking him home.
Now he has found his new home and is ready for a bit of travelling.
There isn't a log to sign, although any photos would be appreciated. If you do pick Gareth up, please don't keep him in your possession too long.

Logs
A review of this moveable shows the cache may have been collected from its currently listed co-ords, however it has not been relocated. The previous finder was contacted regarding the cache however it has not been re-located. As a result, we are archiving the cache to stop cachers looking for a cache that is obviously not at the listed co-ords. This is also done to keep the Geocaching Australia database clean and up to date,
If the cache owner can confirm that the cache has be relocated, they can post an unarchive log and the cache will be back in the game.

finally moved along on a visit to my son, re-hidden ready to be found
Reading previous logs, this moveable may still be in location OR may have been found, removed and not relocated yet. We know moveables can sometimes be forgotten / missed / left in the bottom of a caching bag, so a check has been undertaken on this one.

Moved to a secret location were the brotherhood of moveable gnomes are known to congregate.
Found this one on the table at the event for Australia Day for the moveables. Thanks for the moveable which was one of 101 that made their way to Ebenezer from far away places to spend some time in the local winery before scattering to new places. Good luck on any further moves

For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

Headed up to Ebenezer with LuckyL10n to attend the Aussie Day event. 45 degree day made for a bit of a fun trip, however it was pleasant in the winery building. A good few hardy souls were in attendance as well as over 100 moveables. Some good conversation with cachers not met before and a good couple of hours was had by all. The trip home was a little different to what was expected but turned out ok....
Thanks to all the CO's for the caches...

Called into Tizzana Winery to buy some wine and saw the moveables and the list. The family wanted to continue on so said "Hi" to a few we'd previously met then headed on with some wine. Diolch for the moveable. I didn't pick up any.

Attended the 'Australia Day Moveable Event 2018' and came face to face with other like minded cachers, one being another lucky (luckyl10n) and 101 moveables in the area. Many thanks to the CO's who have published them over time and others who bought them together for the event.

Met up with alnic39 after work and a group of moveables were complaining of the cramped space that they were kept in. So while we were catching up we let them stretch their legs. Got their autographs & they wanted to know why they were so popular again. Told them it was part of the summer games & they were cool with that.

After that we gathered them back up and put them back into alnic39 yesgeomobile as he was destined to place them further up the mountains. Thanks for the moveable & good luck on your journeys

I decided to take advantage of a couple flexdays to come up the mountains and stay with my favorite old man
Of course there was a price to pay and I was made to find a few caches to pay for my bread and board, nothing onerous this far but I fear he may have other plans for the next couple days.
Thanks for the cache

After a winter in the ACT Gareth was looking forward to some time near the beach.
While we were out caching close by today we noticed that there was a gathering of moveables not far away. When we stopped we realised that we had been to this spot before to collect moveable caches on past visits to the ACT. We made our way down to the hide and uncovered a rather mottley crew waiting to be moved on.
On close inspection we felt that we had seen some of these moveables before. On closer scrutiny we had indeed met five of the gathering in other parts of the country. Those we had met we left in place. The remaining five we will take with us as we head south.
This little fellow seems to have moved around the ACT so we hope he will enjoy a move south. He might even experience a trip across Bass Strait on one of the Spirits followed by a tour of Tasmania. We will get him out in the next week or two.

Out and about again and waiting to be found. A little bit further uphill than his last home, but not too far from a river.....
#GA2087 - 12:25; I saw that this gnewish Gnome had made a quick run south, but had then been sitting about by the river for a couple of lazy weeks. Dropped by today to collect him and keep him omoving. TFTC minniek

Took Gareth for a long drive when the weekend winds had blown trees blocking the road preventing me reaching my first pick of hiding spots. I went for a walk to another spot but a red-bellied black snake had taken up residence there.
I eventually found a spot closer to town. But Gareth has good access to a lovely beach. So fetch him on a warm day and take a picnic and swimmers.

Black Bunny and Just a cacher drove to Goulburn, finding a few caches on the way. The weather was very weird, with sort of misty foggy rain over the 'lake'. We found a few empty logs.
Joint *FTF* with Black Bunny.
Picked up to place elsewhere.
Thanks for the cache, Minniek!
