Geobash Easter Mega - Day #3 (Easter Saturday 30/3)
Day three saw me head up the Federal Hwy towards Goulburn for a family reunion. I was asked to be there for at least a little while. So I left early and soon enough I found myself finding some solved WIG’s and Letterbox’s as well as others to and from Canberra. It was a great trip. Though I was pushing it time wise to get back in time for the big event [GCAKTHC]. I ended up getting back around 2:15pm-ish and that means I was just in time for the big event. That was certainly my first ever Geocaching Wedding attended. Congratulations Fitzy & Minniek. Afterwards A group of us went and found some nearby caches. Most of them were DSD multi-caches. Then it was time to head off and get some dinner and then back to the motel for some sleep. TB visit. If the cache wasn’t signed as JohnoMawbs, it was signed as JM or as the tour group name. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTE’s & TFTC’s
Given there was a GCA event today, I decided that I should find some GCA caches along the way to/from Goulburn. This was one of those finds. A nice quick find at GZ and now to head off to the next one.

I stopped for the multi cache and while I was here I found this one as well. Who left a semi trailer loaded with timber here?

Travelling north to visit elderly aunt and uncle who are both in separate hospitals this Christmas and stopped here to grab this cache. On opening the log I discovered my signature back in January this year and have obviously forgotten to log it so here I go. TFTC

Today we cached between Goulburn and the NSW/ACT border, concentrating particularly on caches along the Federal Highway. Earlier this year we called into Canberra as we came south from Brisbane meaning that we had found most of the caches while travelling towards Canberra. So today most of our time was spent on the other side of the highway. It is interesting that the rest areas on either side of the highway have been dedicated to those ex-servicemen who were awarded the Victoria Cross for their bravery in battle. It is also pleasing to see that many of the rest areas have caches to entice people to visit and read of the deeds of many. Accurate coordinates and a commonly used style of hide led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks minniek for the cache.
#GA2105 - 13:20; It was a cool, blustery day and rain was threatening, but undeterred I headed out to collect this series of caches as I work towards another dZ challenge. I parked the geomobile and headed to GZ, but couldn't find anything! I widened the search area and still nothing I checked around a bit more and spotted the cache sitting on the ground. Signed the log and tucked the cache into a secure looking spot which could have been the original GZ. TFTC minniek

I found the micro cache (mintie tin) on the ground. I balanced it back on the guard rail, but with no magnet it will probably fall off again. TFTC minniek.

After a drive up Mt Stromlo and a bit of fun with the logs, it was time to head out to Lake George and grab these new ones as well. Thought I might in for a first to find or two, but alas Mr and Mrs Bunny certainly beat me to them. No problems though as it was neat day for a drive out here. All caches found without issue.
Thanks for a few more caches Minniek

Black Bunny and Just a cacher drove to Goulburn, finding a few caches on the way. The weather was very weird, with sort of misty foggy rain over the 'lake'. We found a few empty logs.
Joint *FTF* with Black Bunny.
Thanks for the cache, Minniek!
