Geobash Easter Mega - Day #3 (Easter Saturday 30/3)
Day three saw me head up the Federal Hwy towards Goulburn for a family reunion. I was asked to be there for at least a little while. So I left early and soon enough I found myself finding some solved WIG’s and Letterbox’s as well as others to and from Canberra. It was a great trip. Though I was pushing it time wise to get back in time for the big event [GCAKTHC]. I ended up getting back around 2:15pm-ish and that means I was just in time for the big event. That was certainly my first ever Geocaching Wedding attended. Congratulations Fitzy & Minniek. Afterwards A group of us went and found some nearby caches. Most of them were DSD multi-caches. Then it was time to head off and get some dinner and then back to the motel for some sleep. TB visit. If the cache wasn’t signed as JohnoMawbs, it was signed as JM or as the tour group name. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTE’s & TFTC’s
Given there was a GCA event today, I decided that I should find some GCA caches along the way to/from Goulburn. This was one of those finds. A nice quick find at GZ and now to head off to the next one.

A quick find today, and another frown turned upside down. The drive along the tree-lined road was very picturesque. Thanks for the cache minniek

Found this at the end of the line after the CITO. Found easily and still in great order. Had a replacement ready to go - but this one is still happy and healthy.

I set out early this morning hoping to complete the High Road to Canberra series working from #20 to #1 then find the caches back along the Highway that I haven't already found. The log was completely sodden and is now in my car. I replaced the log in a plastic bag having signed it first, and returned all to the hiding pace. TFTC Minniek

On my way to Goulburn for the GIFF event I took a few minutes to detour up to this one. It is a bit sad to see the old Madew winery not what it used to be, I miss the big events out here. The log is pretty wet, bit I left my mark.

A great second day of caching in the ACT and Queanbeyan. Today not so much numbers, but lots of fun. After a few local caches in Queanbeyan it was of into the beautiful Molonglo george and then to the event in Queanbeyan before doing the long drive home.

As we travelled along the Federal Highway we realised that we could not access this hide without finding a side road. We managed to do that as we headed to Goulburn for a GIFF event. Once at GZ, accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks minniek for the cache.
GCA 1779. Found this one while heading out of Canberra this evening.
After flying back into Canberra in the rain it was a quick dash out of the dry car for the find.

#GA2109 - 14:00; It was a cool, blustery day and rain was threatening, but undeterred I headed out to collect this series of caches as I work towards another dZ challenge. After two quick finds in the rest area, I made the mistake of getting back on the highway to give this one a try. As I passed GZ, there was no turn off and I had to continue quite a way along before I could turn back . Thinking I had missed the required turn, I headed back along the highway again and had to turn back from the same place. Third time lucky, I got back onto the right track and made it to GZ where I found the cache without any further problems TFTC minniek

Found 2:22pm. On the way home to Central Coast from Canberra and decided to grab some caches along the way. These were put on the agenda. Fairly quick find. Good that they are quick when doing a long drive.

After a drive up Mt Stromlo and a bit of fun with the logs, it was time to head out to Lake George and grab these new ones as well. Thought I might in for a first to find or two, but alas Mr and Mrs Bunny certainly beat me to them. No problems though as it was neat day for a drive out here. All caches found without issue.
Thanks for a few more caches Minniek

Black Bunny and Just a cacher drove to Goulburn, finding a few caches on the way. The weather was very weird, with sort of misty foggy rain over the 'lake'. We found a few empty logs.
Joint *FTF* with Black Bunny.
Thanks for the cache, Minniek!
