Grabbed at the Rutherglen Geocaching Australia event and now down and ready to be found again.
I discovered this moveable cache at the GCA event in Rutherglen on the 7/4/23. Another Geocacher has taken it from GZ and will move it along shortly.
The Rutherglen Mega – Easter 2023
This was another a-MAZE-ing Mega, hosted by Geocaching Victoria. Thanks so much, for bringing me here and for the enjoyment it has brought me over the weekend.
Day #1 [6/4] – After a massive day of work, I headed off to my overnight stop in Culcairn. Along the way, I stopped off at an AL waypoint, in Henty. My only find of the day. Now time for some sleep and get ready for arriving at the Mega tomorrow.
Day #2 [7/4] – Its Mega day! I started off the day by finding a cache across the road of my motel in Culcairn, before getting breakfast. After breakfast I headed out of town and I arrived at the Rutherglen showgrounds at 9am. I was pleased to check in and sign the attendance book. I caught up with many people and I also found the lab caches. During the gaps of the Mega fun and during the non-raining times, I headed out to find as many caches as I could. I found the letterbox caches, attended the 3 events [2 GC and 1 GA] and found a couple of caches around the area. While at the GA event many moveable caches were discovered and signed. After the dinner event at the end of the day, I went did some bush bashing in the dark of the night to find a 2006 cache. I made sure I found it, as it fulfils part of a self-imposed challenge. Now, time to head to the motel and head to bed, so I’m ready for my last day tomorrow.
Day #3 [8/4] – My final day. Anyway, I still have much planned which included finding the bike trail caches, finishing the Solar System series and finding a couple of multi-caches. Also, on the way home, I decided on avenging a DNF. But before that, I started the day with breakfast at Macca’s. Next I found a couple more labs, some of which I missed yesterday. After a phone call, my bike riding buddy (Joelisa) was running late. This meant I could find the rest of the Solar System Series and a couple of others. I arrived at the starting point of the bike trail and was greeted by Ms Maddy who was getting ready for the bike ride. While we were getting ready If and Joelisa arrived and we decided on heading off and doing it together. The caches along the bike trail were signed as **8/4/23 JIMM**. The group consisted of Joelisa [J], If [I], Ms Maddy [M] and Myself - JohnoMawbs [M for Mawbs]. We did most of the trail along the way to Wahgunyah, found a couple of other caches, had lunch and for the return trip, found the five we missed for the return trip to Rutherglen. Then we went our separate ways. I headed off to meet up with The Drovers before leaving. I found two caches along the way home. The second of the two, I avenged a DNF. Now time to get home as I have a very busy day tomorrow.
I will need to return at some point, so I can complete the ‘bird’ mystery cache power trail at some point. Also all the new multi-caches which have just been published. So, these caches have been put on my, to do list. In other words, I’LL BE BACK.
TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found this weekend and for allowing them to bring me and the Geocaching community enjoyment. TFTE’s and TFTC’s

Reading previous logs for this moveable indicates that the cache is still in location, just sitting there waiting to be found. So, if you're in the area, or simply passing through, why not stop and help it on its way again.....
I helped the CO make up this series of Moveable caches. Now I have my own GCA account I have been given permission to log them.
They have certainly traveled far and wide.

I found your geocache at an event held in Adelaide GA13348 where there was a large table of movable GCA caches.
Your cache was in great condition and is continuing on its journeys.
I did not take this one, but it is good hands and moving on.
Thanks for placing this movable cache to be found and moved.

Spotted in the carpark at the Bendigo Botanical Gardens. Enjoy your travels and thanks for the fun.
One of many moveable caches logged at a GCA event in Bendigo this evening.
My thanks to Whheels for collecting so many moveable caches and holding an event to help us along the path to our destination... https://geocaching.com.au/dragonzone/game/journeyordestination
My thanks, also to the owners of all the caches spread across our countryside.

Headed down to Melbourne for the Meet the Moveables event at Brimbank Park, where this moveable, along with about 120 other were found. A good turn out at the event and everyone seem to have a lot fun talking about all things caching while finding the moveables and getting a start on the Journey or Destination summer game. A good couple of hours were spent in the area before witching hour rolled around and it was time to head back up the highway towards home. T'was an uneventful trip and with the number of moveable on offer, was certainly worth the drive.
Thanks for the moveable.....

This must be the fourth or fifth in this series that I’ve found.
It’s a great idea. I didn’t intend to be going through a town beginning with J, in the near future, so I only discovered this one and left it for somebody else to move along.

A quick pickup of moveables today for a secret meeting to take place in just a little while. Your geocache would like to join the secret activities so it may not move for a little while but it will be safe and sound and will be moved along (and hopefully logged quite a bit) in the not too distant future.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache here today.

Sorry for the delay it has taken ages to find a place that starts with J. It's like scrabble. A nightmare. Out finding some dinosaurs today I passed through JACANA so moveable J is now residing safely in a location that starts with J.
We found this cache here S37° 48.908' E144° 51.575' where Q is supposed to be. Q is not at that location and now J isn't either. J has been retrieved from the location of Q and will be moved along shortly. A log will follow for Q but it's not where it's supposed to be. A mix up with letters will mean some level of confusion about which cache is which.

Found in Amaroo, ACT in the hands of another cacher. I happened to be heading to that location area for the movies and touched base with the cachers to be informed of some movables. So why not 'find-em' and replace back in hand.
Thanks for the cache.

Discovered in the hands of LuckyLion, amongst a number of other caches. TFTC Fitzy!
First up this morning we headed to the National Arboretum and looked for a few caches in the area. We then went to the restaurant and met up with Sol de Lune and Luck L10n for morning tea. We had a very enjoyable time in a location with wonderful views back over Lake Burley Griffin and the surrounding suburbs. Our discussions ranged over many aspects of caching and then other things as well. By the end we had sorted out all the problems in the world - if only they would listen to us!! As we were about to leave, a bag of moveable caches were produced and we busily set about signing the all the logs. After the paperwork was completed, the caches were last seen heading off with Lucky L10n and, no doubt, will be out again soon. This set of caches were very handy for us as they were main reason for us finally being able to get to 200 Dragon Zone finds on a Thursday, a component of one of the Dragon Zone Trophy Challenges. Thanks fitzy_1965 for this cache and the series.
Discovered and logged in the hands of Sol de Lune. Nicely placed and set up - TFTC!

#GA2126 - 15:30; Day one of a caching run through eastern Victoria with Sol de lune to build on our July trip further to the west. This series was the catalyst for our visit and I remember cursing the CO when I saw they were dropped when I was only a few hundred kilometres away in Melbourne earlier in the month! Anyway, undeterred a plan was hatched and Sdl and I set off early this morning and collecting caches along the way had now reached GZ. Only found three of five to start with, but a little bit of sleuthing revealed a damaged bag and not too far away the two missing moveables. Seems the wildlife may have been disappointed with their find, but Sdl and I were not as we also look like we're the *FTF* . TFTC fitzy_1965

SURPRISE !!!
The lure of 25 moveables, a mere 505klms from home was too much to ignore, so LuckyL10n and I decided a road trip was in order. We left Canberra early this morning and after a few other GCA finds, arrived at this first set of the said moveables. Looking into GZ though we could only find 3 of the 5. Strange we thought, but then noticed a bag on the ground that had obviously been chewed on, and after a short scout around, the missing 2 caches were found. All were in good condition, but it certainly looks like a possum or other animal had decided they wanted to see what was in the bag.
Anyway, caches are good and in the car, and will be left in appropriate named cities/towns soon.
Thanks fitzy....nothing like an impromptu road trip for a bit of fun......
