Logs
Moved from Katherine to Kununurra, a road distance of 514km, if you don't stray to find other caches .
(I wanted to leave it on Kelly Road, leading to Kellys Knob, Katherine, but I couldn't find a secure enough place.)

I picked this moveable cache up today. The cache and log are still in good condition. Will move it on. It was hidden here in 14-Jul-18, and I picked it up on 14-Jul-22, so exactly four years today hidden here in Katherine. TFTC fitzy_1965.

Reading previous logs for this moveable indicates that the cache is still in location, just sitting there waiting to be found. So, if you're in the area, or simply passing through, why not stop and help it on its way again.....
I helped the CO make up this series of Moveable caches. Now I have my own GCA account I have been given permission to log them.
They have certainly traveled far and wide.

I forgot to leave this cache at Katoomba a couple of weeks ago but completely forgot.
As there are no towns out here within my current travel range that start with K, I've placed it bedside a road with a K in its name. Hahaha. No, honestly, I just needed to place it and today was the day and I happened to be out exploring here.
Sorry it took so long to move.

Had a lovely lunch with half of my immediate family today and met my eldest's partners family. Sadly, I had to head off home on my own to get back to work next day. But not so sad was that being on my own meant I could stop and cache my way home. It also meant not getting home till after midnight though. haha.
I'm sure I can get this somewhere with a K soon... that isn't in the middle of nowhere.

K - Kangaroo Valley, NSW (Well, you can see right along the valley from here!)
Kangaroo Valley is a river valley along the Kangaroo River in the Shoalhaven region of New South Wales, Australia, located west of the seaside in the City of Shoalhaven. It is also the name of the small township within it, formerly known as Osborne, with a population of 879 in the 2016 census.
The first inhabitants of Kangaroo Valley were the Australian Aboriginal Wodi-Wodi people, who had reportedly occupied the land for around 20,000 years before the European settlement of Australia in 1788. An 1826 census indicated 79 Aborigines lived in the valley in five separate encampments. The first recorded European sighting of the valley was in April 1812, when surveyor-explorer George Evans passed through the area as he travelled north from his exploration of Jervis Bay. Evans reportedly claimed that the valley offered a view that "no painter could beautify."
The area was first settled in 1817 when Charles Throsby, an explorer and Captain Richard Brooks, a cattleman, opened the area for white settlement.

Found in Amaroo, ACT in the hands of another cacher. I happened to be heading to that location area for the movies and touched base with the cachers to be informed of some movables. So why not 'find-em' and replace back in hand.
Thanks for the cache.

Discovered in the hands of LuckyLion, amongst a number of other caches. TFTC Fitzy!
First up this morning we headed to the National Arboretum and looked for a few caches in the area. We then went to the restaurant and met up with Sol de Lune and Luck L10n for morning tea. We had a very enjoyable time in a location with wonderful views back over Lake Burley Griffin and the surrounding suburbs. Our discussions ranged over many aspects of caching and then other things as well. By the end we had sorted out all the problems in the world - if only they would listen to us!! As we were about to leave, a bag of moveable caches were produced and we busily set about signing the all the logs. After the paperwork was completed, the caches were last seen heading off with Lucky L10n and, no doubt, will be out again soon. This set of caches were very handy for us as they were main reason for us finally being able to get to 200 Dragon Zone finds on a Thursday, a component of one of the Dragon Zone Trophy Challenges. Thanks fitzy_1965 for this cache and the series.
Discovered and logged in the hands of Sol de Lune. Nicely placed and set up - TFTC!

#GA2138 - 16:50; Day one of a caching run through eastern Victoria with Sol de lune to build on our July trip further to the west. This series was the catalyst for our visit and I remember cursing the CO when I saw they were dropped when I was only a few hundred kilometres away in Melbourne earlier in the month! Anyway, undeterred a plan was hatched and Sdl and I set off early this morning and collecting caches along the way had now reached GZ. This was the final batch we needed to complete our alphabet. After recent rain, we decided to leave the geomobile near a large pool of water which was blocking the road and cover the last couple of hundred metres on foot. Once at GZ, we logged the resident cache and collected this batch of moveables to continue (start?) their travels. More too for the growing swag of *FTF* being accumulated today . I expect these too will make their way home initially to Canberra then will likely split up and head off to some appropriately named towns after that TFTC fitzy_1965

SURPRISE, but I guess you really know that by now!!!
The lure of 25 moveables, a mere 505klms from home was too much to ignore, so LuckyL10n and I decided a road trip was in order. We left Canberra early this morning and after a few other GCA finds, arrived at this final set of 10.
We may have approached GZ from the wrong end of the road as the rather large puddle of water stopped us going any further about 250 metres from GZ. So it became a walk around and then along the road to GZ where LuckyL10n soon hand all 10 moveables, and the bonus trad, in hand. Then a walk back along the road, past the barking dogs and into the car for a quick getaway.
Caches are in good order, in the car and will soon be left in appropriate named cities/towns soon.
Thanks fitzy....a great idea for a set of moveables that I hope will visit many different places over time.
