Time for this one to hit the road again. Waiting beside the road where there is room to pull off.
Found in the bag of moveables collected from ParisLaura after the pub lunch today. Will move on soon.
Moved this one along today at a GC event. Some lovely Tassies took it with them to continue its journey
'Just a Cacher' was in town and met me in the city for a bit of a moveable swap. This one is therefore in Adelaide and now in my possession and will be moved asap. TFTC

Picked up along with quite a few others and they are now all on their way to Bendigo via Echuca over the next couple of days.
Having had a smooth trip on the Spirit of Tasmania, and an equally smooth trip by vehicle northwards, this moveable is now comfortably residing at Shepparton until it is collected to continue its journey
It’s already been to Ulverstone we will have to find one elsewhere.
We collected this one last night in Devonport, after a lovely farewell dinner with 2y’stassies
Today he is waiting to board the Spirit of Tasmania to start a new adventure on the mainland
Thanks for the opportunity of moving him
And hopefully another footstep towards my destination
Currently in transit

On our recent trip to the south of the state we collected up a few moveable caches, today they were passed on to another team who will help them continue their journeys, thanks for travelling with us for a bit
Found after time spent alternating between family duties and caching, gotta grab a chance when you can. We'll move this one towards the north of the state. TFTC
back out with one other waiting to be found again
Quick find while in the company of gooseandegg, I will move on as soon as I can but since I have so many it could take me a few days
Thanks for the moveable.

Journey or Destination
Game Period: 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST
It is sometimes said [citation needed] that the game of geocaching is not about the destination it is about the journey. This game is about the choices you make in the experience of the journey or the destination.
On your entry to the game you will be asked to create a playing field with a number of ground tiles. Your playing field is a grid 20 x 20 ground tiles making a total number of 400 possible steps you can take on your journey or destination. You choose whether you want to find and follow the path or whether you wanted to meander around. A playing field is unique to each player so there is no benefit in teaming up to beat the system through brute force.
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath. There are a number of different ground tiles that will be revealed when you click on your playing field. It should be noted that there are no punishments for clicking a tile but there will not always be the reward you were hoping for as you reveal each tile.
Dirt. The ground beneath the ground tile is just plain old brown dirt.
Dirt with some points. The ground beneath the tile is brown dirt but it has some points associated with it.
Concrete. The ground beneath is part of the pathway that will lead you on your way to your destination but has no point value.
Start. A concrete ground tile that has a blue map marker.
Destination. A ground tile that has a green map marker.
Meandering around and avoiding the path will accumulate points that will be used to place on you the ladder of wanderers. The more you stay off the path the higher the number of points you will accumulate and it will be your journey that will be the determining factor in whether you place into a prize winning position. You are free to select any ground tile to click on; they do not need to be next to each other.
Trying to find the path may mean you strike out on the dirt until you eventually come across the path and as a geocacher who can't say that this isn't a tried and true method. Once you find the path however will you try and follow the path as it changes direction around your playing field? Do you go North, South, East or West to try and find the next concrete tile along the path? If you head one way are you heading towards the start or towards the destination? When you do happen upon the destination tile then you will automatically be in a winning position.
At any point you are free to change from the journey to the destination and vice versa but you won't be able to regenerate your playing field. You are also free to keep playing as long as you have qualifying geocaches, accumulating more and more dirt tile points and placing you higher and higher on the ladder.
Qualifying geocaches fall into two categories. Finds and Hides.
A qualifying find is a geocache that meets the following criteria:
The geocache is listed at Geocaching Australia
The geocache has a hidden date prior to the game commencing
The geocache was logged by you on the Geocaching Australia website during the game period
The geocache was physically found by you during the game period
The geocache is not owned by you unless it is a moveable geocache
The geocache has not previously been found by you during the game period
The geocache is one of the following types:
Burke and Wills
Moveable (you will qualify only once for a find on a moveable geocache)
Traditional
TrigPoint
Augmented Reality
Beacon
Gadget
Multi-cache
Night Cache
Podcache
Reverse
Unknown or Mystery
A qualifying hide is a geocache that meets the following criteria:
The geocache is listed at Geocaching Australia
The geocache has a hidden date after the game has commenced
The geocache was published on the Geocaching Australia website during the game period
The geocache has a container size of regular or larger (Note: A regular geocache has a volume of 1 litre or more)
The geocache is one of the following types:
Moveable
Traditional
Augmented Reality
Beacon
Gadget
Multi-cache
Night Cache
Podcache
Reverse
Unknown or Mystery
The game tracking mechanism relies upon your honesty when logging geocaches as found or hidden.
The games administrators will undertake verification of a statistically significant number of logs.
Players who continually log inaccurate information will be disqualified from the game. The game administrators decision is final.
The game administrators will subtract qualifying hide or find geocaches from your tally if they are found to be not genuine.
The game administrators reserve the right to provide clarifications to the rules at any point during the game.
Don't forget to claim your limited time game trophies, if your qualify, while the game is in progress. Once the game completes the ability to claim your trophies is lost for ever.

I took this cache to SA, with every intention of hiding in Unley. I was actually there, but traffic conditions created a situation where I had to abandon caching and head for the airport.
Fall back plan; Ulverstone. This was an easy one for me, but I was concerned that there are very few "U's" in Tasmania. I thought SA gave more scope but it wasn't to be.

Quick find. Left a gnome behind to keep the hide warm. Now to find somewhere beginning with “U”.

Virtual move as will be picked up tomorrow - don't look here.
Could have gone to Unanderra but ...moved to a location along the road to Tallowa Dam in Kangaroo Valley. You will have to negotiate the embankment - don't park on the road. High clearance vehicle but 4WD not necessary. There are a couple of options to access the parking. A short walk into the bush with some fine scribbly gums to admire. Cache is with a few other moveables. Averaged location. If you see a large, leaning scribbly gum you're nearly there.
Decided to do some May-tenance & find the 2 caches I hid in this glorious location - serenity. One of the most picturesque locations in Kangaroo Valley, but too far for those who prefer LPCing.
Periodically the Geocaching Australia review team checks moveable caches that haven’t been found or moved in over 90 days.
This moveable fits that brief, however reading previous logs it seems to still be at the posted co-ords and is just sitting there waiting for the next finder to give it a go.
So, if you’re in area why not stop by and help it on its way......

A quick run down to Kangaroo Valley for a couple of cache finds and movables. I decided to leave this one here nice and safe. Thanks for the movable.
Now in Upper Kangaroo Valley, much more picturesque than Unanderra. Hidden near a pedestrian suspension bridge. Just as you see the community hall take the turn to the right & follow road to the end. There is a bit of gravel. A beautiful spot & if it's hot have a paddle in the Kangaroo River. Has a cache for company.
Found on a wet, cool & windy day as befits the Illawarra. U for Unanderra perhaps. Thanks.
U - unnamed track near Shoalhaven Heads (Yes, I know it doesn't begin with U )
Perhaps the next finder could relocate this one to Ulladulla or Unanderra depending on whether they are headed north or south from here! TFTC fitzy_1965

Found in Amaroo, ACT in the hands of another cacher. I happened to be heading to that location area for the movies and touched base with the cachers to be informed of some movables. So why not 'find-em' and replace back in hand.
Thanks for the cache.

Discovered in the hands of LuckyLion, amongst a number of other caches. TFTC Fitzy!
First up this morning we headed to the National Arboretum and looked for a few caches in the area. We then went to the restaurant and met up with Sol de Lune and Luck L10n for morning tea. We had a very enjoyable time in a location with wonderful views back over Lake Burley Griffin and the surrounding suburbs. Our discussions ranged over many aspects of caching and then other things as well. By the end we had sorted out all the problems in the world - if only they would listen to us!! As we were about to leave, a bag of moveable caches were produced and we busily set about signing the all the logs. After the paperwork was completed, the caches were last seen heading off with Lucky L10n and, no doubt, will be out again soon. This set of caches were very handy for us as they were main reason for us finally being able to get to 200 Dragon Zone finds on a Thursday, a component of one of the Dragon Zone Trophy Challenges. Thanks fitzy_1965 for this cache and the series.
Discovered and logged in the hands of Sol de Lune. Nicely placed and set up - TFTC!

#GA2136 - 16:25; Day one of a caching run through eastern Victoria with Sol de lune to build on our July trip further to the west. This series was the catalyst for our visit and I remember cursing the CO when I saw they were dropped when I was only a few hundred kilometres away in Melbourne earlier in the month! Anyway, undeterred a plan was hatched and Sdl and I set off early this morning and collecting caches along the way had now reached GZ. The dyslexia has kicked back in and we have moved from A to Z with this third batch after thinking there may have been some order returned after our last batch find. More for the *FTF* list is again a bonus . I expect these too will make their way home initially to Canberra then will likely split up and head off to some appropriately named towns after that TFTC fitzy_1965

SURPRISE, but I guess you know that by now!!!
The lure of 25 moveables, a mere 505klms from home was too much to ignore, so LuckyL10n and I decided a road trip was in order. We left Canberra early this morning and after a few other GCA finds, arrived at this next set of the said moveables.
Again, no issues here and the 5 moveables were soon in the bag...if you know what I mean.
Caches are in good order, in the car and will soon be left in appropriate named cities/towns soon.
Thanks fitzy....nothing like an impromptu road trip for a bit of fun......
