Over on the YP for a couple of days so grabbed a few caches along the way
Having seen a 3 foot black nearby on the way here I was a little cautious approaching this cache. As it turned out the big huntsman in the apparatus was all I had to worry about
Cheers & TFTC

Mr Frog looked at GZ and decided he knew what to do and enjoyed the ladders without sliding down the snakes.

We were in the area today as we continued to make our way down the backbone of the Yorke Peninsula hunting for caches in the Gone Fishn' series and made a detour to look for this cache.
After a chat with the cache owners when they were home over summer we offered to check on this cache and provide maintenance if required.
As it has been very dry in this area we had no trouble negotiating the dry weather road in our 2WD, low clearance sedan. It would have been a very different situation if the road had been wet.
Accurate coordinates enabled us to locate this cache quickly and the steady hands of Mrs Y'stassie soo had the log container in hand - only ladders for us today no snakes fortunately. The lid of the log container was indeed missing but the log sheet was dry. We attempted to raise the lid the same way we used to retrieve the container but were unsuccessful. We then replaced the lidless container with a new one provided by the COs. We checked to make sure the new log container could be retrieved using the tools provided and all was well.
Thanks for another very good gadget cache Tassie Trekkers. We hope that this cache has more visitors in the future.

Many thanks 2y’stassies for checking on this one and providing maintainance - allowing us to unarchive it.
It was evident what was required here, and we got the cache out without a single backward step. As the cache neared the top, we noticed that it had no lid, and I could see the log sheet exposed in the open container. All was nice and dry inside luckily, despite the drizzling rain this morning. After signing the log, I peered back into the tube and saw what looked like a lid in the bottom. I used the chop sticks to try and bring it to the top, but it continually wanted to flip over and drop back to the bottom. Good luck getting that out of there! In the end we had to return the cache as we found and move on.
The way the contraption is fixed to the tree is interesting. Surely it isn't screwed to the tree?!?
Thanks Tassie Trekkers.

GCA# 382 Found on the SA leg of our 2017 escape trip.
A perfect Spring day for a drive around while at Minlaton.
3 new GCA's and all gadgets very close so I was on a mission.
This one was a little different and tricky enough to crack.
*FTF* logged and then on to the next one.
Thanks for the cache Tassie Treckers,
Roostaman
