Logs
Our photo for this one isn't at the front of the church as stipulated but along the side.
The reason being that the Anzac service was happening while we were there and the crowds were close to the place we wanted to be.
Probably wouldn't have mattered for a photo cache but Mr Beetle didn't want to feel stupid standing there holding the GPS.
Hope this is okay.
Thanks Team MavEtJu.

This church is such an imposing building. The ribbons on the fence have been there for quite some time. The photo is of my caching buddy- Miss Chief- and my GPS. I can't do selfies!

My photo was taken at the side of the cathedral to show the ‘Loud Fence’ of ribbons alongside the cathedral.

We arrived in Ballarat late in the afternoon and before the sun set, we visited the two cathedrals. Two photos of Mrs y'stassie standing outside the St Patrick's Cathedral have been added to the Gallery. Earlier this month we heard a radio report that all the ribbons, remembering the victims of clerical sexual abuse, had been removed from the wrought iron fence of the cathedral. We were surprised that when we visited today all the ribbon had been replaced with new ribbons and from our memory of last year, the number of ribbons had increased significantly. The solidarity of the public towards the victims has not diminished - it seems to have strengthened. Thanks Team MavEDtJu for the cache and the series.
Came into town for a concert at The Maj. Had an early dinner and noticed a couple of nearby caches waiting for a *FTF* . Had plenty of time to kill and it was good to walk off the dinner too. Thank you for bringing us here MavEtJu. Pic attached.
