Please replace everything as found: the life of the cache is dependent on this - one component is needed for others to successfully sign the log

Cheers OldSaint.

Thanks for the reverse cache OldSaint. The GeoGSP and I were bored at home, the weather was a little bit ordinary, but we decided it was ok to go out and look for a cache or two. This one has been on my radar for ages. I'd worked out where I needed to start and off we went, just as we heard some rumblings of thunder in the distance. I kept watching the weather radar on my phone and I was pretty sure the storm cell was a fair way away, and that we could get to the cache without getting soaked. We headed off, found the right track and a few minutes later had located the first part of the puzzle. Then it was off to find the second part - success, and then finally back to where we started with the required info to open the cache. By this time there was significant precipitation heading downwards from the sky, so I tried to move quickly. I opened the cache to find a significant amount of water inside.... the log was saturated and unable to sign, and everything was just getting wetter. I had a spare log and ziplock bag with me, although not the right size - I attempted to complete a replacement log, but as it was still raining, the ink immediately spread across the page and just become great big splodges! In the end all I could do was quickly take some photos and close the cache up as quickly as possible. Hopefully Ill get to return again soon with some water resistant paper so I can replace the log properly.
But I loved the concept of this reverse cache and all the steps. Thanks for the work and effort you have put into this one!

Hello Oldsaint thanks for the cache.

This was the first cache of the day with EeePees.
After solving the puzzle we made our way the the new cords where EeePees spotted the cache from there it was a little search before we found the code to unlock the cache to be able to sign the log.

Hi OldSaint, I was back in the area today, this time prepared with solved coordinates in hand, and with AlbyDangles for company, on a day out to find some caches in the Sandford area. (Took about 4 hours to get to Sandford though!!).
A good team effort here, I spotted the container whilst looking from exactly the best spot, and then it was Alby that found the extra bit required, 'open sesame' was just not happening without the code!
Thanks for a fun adventure, I liked the inner containers!

Hi OldSaint, I was in the area today, but unlike a good boy-scout, I was not prepared, and didn't have time, so I'll have to come back another time for this one. Just writing this note though to let you know that the sign at the park entrance suggests a Hazard Reduction Burn is scheduled for this Autumn; so you might want to look into that in case this cache might be impacted Think . Cheers

Thanks Old Saint for an interesting puzzle. We enjoyed the walk into gz and once there we didn't have too much trouble locating the cache. We did, however, take quite some time to find the next part. Eventually extracted the log book. We had a little chuckle when we opened the cache a found the inner container. TFTC

Well! That took way longer than it should have.
Also should have waited another two hours so it was a little cooler - too much radiant heat.
TNLN. Thanks for the cache!

After solving the initial puzzle on the way down south yesterday we were hopeful of a reasonably quick find, particularly as the western shore seemed much hotter than the eastern shore this afternoon. We wound our way up to the parking spot and made our way up the hill. After a short off track walk we reached the hide where we could see the container. We used our walking poles to extract it as we couldn't see what else may have occupied the hide - slitherers like spots like this when it gets too hot in the sun.

Extraction complete and the next piece of information obtained Mrs Y'stassie headed off to locate the vital tool leaving Mr Y'stassie guarding the cache container. She had not reached the tool hide when he called down don't worry its open - he hasn't lost a skill he developed in his years in charge of schools where he was often required to rescue students and occasionally staff members who forgot vital details. This meant we never did locate the tool.

After signing the log we returned things as we had found them and made our way back to the car.

Thanks for a good cache Old Saint and for some useful scavenge points.

Great cache

Wondered why I was slow getting to it until I walk back down the hill. It is rather steep

What a shemozzle! I had no issues working through the puzzle but at GZ it was another story. SSR and I had grabbed a couple of trigs this afternoon on our way and after arriving at the solved coordinates spent a ridiculous amount of time looking for the first part. How the hell did we not see that? Stage two went on and on and I was thinking about setting up camp for the night. Eventually a big chunk of C4 put us out of our misery. haha just kidding it was a big rat that that got us out of trouble.
We spent far too long looking for this and my headache didn't help matters, and we were relieved to have the logbook signed and cache tucked safely away.
I have not had a coffee all day, no wonder I have a headache Brick Wall
Thanks OldSaint for another reverse cache, I'm glad we didn't try this one in the dark!

now we made a right mess of this one with us searching for over 30 minutes for the first part and then thinking how did we miss that! next we set off to get the next part and what do you know this took us just as long to get the needed information before I opened it up and was at long last able to sign the log
thanks for an interesting afternoon

After a quick solve and a pleasant walk, I found the container easily. Then the issues started, as I spent 45 minutes searching for the other location before resorting to an alternative approach which soon had me signing the log. While I was searching, a mountain biker came past on a very rough track that I had been eyeing off. Thanks for the walk in some interesting bush.

FTF @ 10.40 am. Headed off in the drizzle to find this new cache after solving the puzzle part when it was first published. We located GZ and found the information for the next part. Mr W went to retrive what was required to access the log. He found GZ after a bit of a search and the info was put to use. A clean log sheet was soon found. Thanks OldSaint for your second reverse cache. We liked the continuity of the theme. TFTRC
