Geobash Easter Mega - Day #3 (Easter Saturday 30/3)
Day three saw me head up the Federal Hwy towards Goulburn for a family reunion. I was asked to be there for at least a little while. So I left early and soon enough I found myself finding some solved WIG’s and Letterbox’s as well as others to and from Canberra. It was a great trip. Though I was pushing it time wise to get back in time for the big event [GCAKTHC]. I ended up getting back around 2:15pm-ish and that means I was just in time for the big event. That was certainly my first ever Geocaching Wedding attended. Congratulations Fitzy & Minniek. Afterwards A group of us went and found some nearby caches. Most of them were DSD multi-caches. Then it was time to head off and get some dinner and then back to the motel for some sleep. TB visit. If the cache wasn’t signed as JohnoMawbs, it was signed as JM or as the tour group name. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTE’s & TFTC’s
Given there was a GCA event today, I decided that I should find some GCA caches along the way to/from Goulburn. This was one of those finds. A nice quick find at GZ and now to head off to the next one.

Found with phlphotos. No apps required this time.
Replaced with permission from the CO.
Armco structure is falling apart with age, (as am I), so placed cache at post with 4 bolts, and an annoying shrub around it.

No find here today, I suspect the cache may have disappeared, just like a section of where it was likely hidden has gone.

We visited this rest area late yesterday and looked for this cache unsuccessfully. Today we were on our way to Yass today so decided to cross the traffic on the Federal Highway to have another look.
We searched for a few minutes and found nothing. Then Mrs Y'stassie noticed a mint tin lying in the leaf litter at the base of the guard rail. On closer inspection we found it contained a very tattered, damp log sheet. When we tried to sign it it tore so we replaced it with a little log book sealed in a little plastic bag. We put the container in the back of the guard rail where the GPS suggested it should go.
Thanks for this cache Minniek. This was an unexpected area off the rest area.

Realized that I had signed the log some time ago and not done the online thing - but only when we opened the log and saw the signature! I must be getting old. Thanks, Minniek!

Last day of the Sol de Lune / LuckyL10n NSW adventure. After attending the Morisset Mega, it was 4 day drive up to and return from Tweed Heads grabbing a load of GCA caches along the way. Seemed appropriate to clean out Goulburn on the way home as well.
We started with the series on Mt Gray and then headed around Goulburn picking off a few others before hitting the rest of this series. LL had already found this one so it was just myself to sign the replacement log.
Thanks Minniek....good to finally grab these ones as well.

#GA2211 - 14:10; After a run through from Bungendore to Goulburn via Currawang and Komungla, it was time to head back down the highway for home. Stopped off to collect this cache on the way past and managed a surprise *FTF* to boot. Arrived near GZ and started the hunt, but had no luck. I was returning to the start line to have another go, when I spotted something suspicious just lying on the ground. Turns out I had the cache in hand. After signing the log, I returned it to a more secure hide. TFTC minniek

GCA 1797. Found this one on a trip out to Goulburn.
I enjoy stopping at the VC Rest areas - and having various caches here to find is a nice bonus.
Quick find at GZ. Not claiming first to find.
